As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be responsible for the set up and operation of the Dynamometer based Testing Equipment to perform IEEE Method 112 and 115 Tests for customers as well as other Load and No-Load Testing Requirements and Specifications to verify and evaluate equipment windings and associated components. Also provide support to the Facility & Maintenance and Production Teams as needed. Review and stay abreast of current Electrical Engineering Testing and Repair Specifications and update our internal procedures accordingly as related to the electric motor and generator repair industry.

Ensure proper selection of materials, equipment and labor are available to perform each Load Test.
Work with Quality Department to maintain and improve Load Test documented ISO 9001:2015 Processes and Procedures.
Work with Facility Team to troubleshoot equipment. Ensure all tests are performed within the limits of the equipment (performed safely).
Work closely with Safety Department. Analyze equipment drawings, testing protocols and other data to plan projects and make recommendations.
Support Customer Service Team to complete bids and obtain job approval.
Use data collection and analysis engineering and design software tools to complete assigned work.
Develop charts and graphics for process performance.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good knowledge & understanding of industrial standards and guidelines, like IEEE, EASA & NEMA are preferred.
Ability to use MatLab, MS Office apps.
Knowledgeable in electrical safety practices in low and high voltage equipment & testing.
Creating SOPs or Forms, as needed.
Willingness and ability to perform physical labor
