This is a hybrid position, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home office. The successful candidate will be involved in all facets of transmission line routing and design. Specific areas of responsibility are provided below. Understands company's quality control plan and takes weekly photos to document any quality control issues. Reviews and comments on viability of design as required. Conducts value engineering functions. Aware of target vs. actual productivity on self performed work. Sensitive to Environmental issues and management of them. Helps to create a safe work site and identifies job hazards to reduce danger. Understands company safety program and participates in safety inspections. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to include health, safety, and welfare as appropriate. Participates in job walks and documents and reports findings. Understands PCO process and minimal ability in identifying PCO/change orders. Performs quantity takeoffs Understand the impacts of project performance on insurance and bond.
