This is a fully onsite role responsible for the verification and validation of cutting-edge test devices and software applications in mobile and stationary environments. Responsibilities:
Execute field and protocol tests for 5G/LTE/GSM technologies on the latest test devices and software.
Utilize logging tools for issue analysis, including call failure and call drop analysis.
Develop and implement automation scripts using open-source tools to enhance wireless mobile operations validation and verification processes.
Identify and implement opportunities for improving manual field test scope through automation of test data generation, execution, and reporting tool development (Python, JavaScript, C++).
Prepare comprehensive test reports detailing software readiness based on test results.
Document and track defects in the test management system, ensuring timely resolution.
Analyze carrier requirement documents and 3GPP specifications to develop test cases and create drive routes.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders and developers globally.
Support senior team members in progress reporting, work audits, and device inventory tracking.
Contribute as an individual to the product development team.
Availability for overtime on weekdays and weekends, and travel up to 20% when required.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, EE, or related field required.
Recent Graduates welcome - 0 - 2 years of directly related experience required in Android testing and field/protocol testing.
Proficient in 5G/LTE/GSM, IMS/VoLTE, TCP/IP, IMS, E911, and 3GPP/3GPP2 Standards.
Experience with testing tools such as QXDM/QCAT/QPST, Wireshark/Ethereal/ADB.
