PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Job Requirements:

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer (Mechanically Biased) to support the delivery of manufacturing projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with minimal guidance, taking ownership of tasks, while also contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
What You'll Do
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering aspects of projects, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with mechanical, controls, and civil disciplines to ensure full project integration.
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure technical and schedule requirements are met.
Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets; escalate risks or deviations as needed.
Prepare documentation such as risk assessments, method statements, and technical reports.
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Participate in design reviews, site meetings, and commissioning activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement or cost reduction.

What You'll Bring

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop structural plans, specifications, and construction documents for wood frame and mass timber building projects.
