About the role The Construction Field Engineer will support the construction management team in overseeing various aspects of nuclear construction projects. The Construction Field Engineer will work closely with experienced construction professionals to further develop their skills in project planning, scheduling, and execution. Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years procurement or related experience in a SRS comparable industry. Candidate must complete the training curriculum as part of the SRS Field Procurement Engineering qualification process. Candidate must have strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills as well as good oral and written communication skills. Candidate must have the ability to perform walkdowns and interface with personnel and systems in the field. A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
