The retail Sales and ServiceTechnician (SST) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career-growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. This role is primarily responsible for serving the customer through assessing needs, recommending appropriate products and/or services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services.

As a Metrohm FieldService Specialist, you'll be the face of our Ion Chromatography Service team-providing technical support and on-site service that keeps our customers' instruments running at peak performance.
You will:
Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop IC systems.
Support customers both on-site and remotely (via phone, email, Teams).
Partner with Process Analytics teams to support IC instruments in advanced process systems.
Manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory.
Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
📍 Territory
This role covers New York, and north and west Pennsylvania, with periodic travel to other U.S. regions as needed. The territory includes a mix of urban and rural markets, offering opportunities to engage with a diverse customer base. Candidates should be comfortable managing travel across multiple states and adapting to varying client needs and environments.
✅ What You Bring
BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
2-4 years of hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the region.
