This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you.
Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

Job Summary:
Support DAWSON s Commercial Door Services contract at Fort Cavazos, Texas. As the Lead Technician, you will perform and oversee preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement of overhead and automatic doors across Army facilities. You will ensure all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards established by the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements on overhead and automatic door systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and PWS requirements.
Lead day-to-day field operations and provide technical direction to assigned technicians and subcontractors.
Maintain compliance with ANSI A156.10, A156.19, and A156.38 standards, ensuring safety and reliability of all serviced door systems.
Ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA 29 CFR 1910, AR 385-10, and all Fort Cavazos safety, fire, and environmental regulations.
Conduct inspections, adjustments, lubrication, and operational testing of door components, operators, controls, and safety devices.

Train and mentor junior technicians on safety procedures, proper tool use, and maintenance best practices.
Enforce key control, site access, and security protocols per Fort Cavazos regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the commercial door field, including maintenance, repair, and installation of overhead and automatic doors.
Competent person credentials in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Hazardous Energy Control, and Confined Space.
Completion of the 30-hour OSHA General Industry or Construction Industry Safety Course, or equivalent EM 385-1-1-based training.
Certification or documented experience meeting ANSI A156.10, A156.19, and A156.38 standards.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturer manuals, and safety data sheets (SDS).

SUMMARY

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.

Completes the "make-ready" process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a "punch" list of maintenance work needed, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining needed supplies and materials, completing all maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work.
3. Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property's maintenance department by tracking inventory used, returning unused items to the established location, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
4. Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.
5. Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
6. Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment.

More than just a Job:
As a Pool Service and Repair Technician:
You'll help create backyard memories for local families and commercial partners, by delivering sparkling, clean, and chemically safe swimming pools.
You'll market our industry-leading Poolwerx supplies to your clients, as well as organize and list any stock stored in your van.
You'll also think on your feet to resolve any challenges you may encounter
You'll work independently while building strong relationships with your clients.
Pool Service and Repair Technician Responsibilities:
Provide a reliable, efficient, and professional service to clients and client follow-up to every customer, every time.
Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, heaters, sanitizers, and filters.
Perform all needed repairs and/or installations professionally and safely, in line with manufacturer recommendations and all applicable codes
Communicate repair needs with clients and service department
Secures the proper functioning of all pool systems and the cleanliness of the pool area.
What You'll Need:
A valid driver's license.
Be 21 or older for motor vehicle insurance purposes.
Provide Department of Motor Vehicle record if selected for an interview.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs
Applicable state licenses and/or certifications preferred but not required
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred. RAIL certified preferred.
A minimum of two years experience in a similar position

Compensation: $750.00 - $1,600.00 per week

Computer Field Technician Position
doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.
Qualifications
Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be comfortable with daily local travel
