Assists with cash count of the vault on a weekly basis. Provide professional customer service to students, staff, faculty, and vendors. Establish and maintain an efficient log for recording scholarship for future term. Use the Workday system to maintain timesheets, leaves, and training requirements.
Use MS Outlook for daily communication through email and departmental voice mail. Verify scholarship updates in RPAAWRD/Banner on a daily basis to report discrepancies to the Scholarship Office. Monitor and report the departments that are not in compliance with cash handling procedures. Assist Cashier Supervisor in solving discrepancies with Retiree insurance.
Assist Cashier Supervisor in refunding student credit card in Touchnet/Marketplace on a weekly basis. Report daily departmental deposits to the Director of Treasury Services. Record and receipt drop box payments using Banner, FAMIS, and Touchnet Issue, file and mail work study and student refund checks.
Perform normal cashiering transactions of the University's funds including accepting cash, checks and credit card payments in person, mail or via phone using Banner, Touchnet, Payment Gateway, credit card terminals, and Touchnet Market Place Software Systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
