Accountable for Revenue to Operating Profit (OP) - Ensure accurate tracking and achievement of revenue targets aligned with operating profit goals. - Monitor financial performance from revenue generation through to operating profit realization. - Conduct Orders, Revenue & Margin Reporting to understand and drive elements such as backlog, price, customer and product mix. - Conduct detailed analysis of revenue streams and their impact on operating profit. - Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely revenue and margin reports. - Provide variance analysis for performance versus history and versus targets. Investment Alignment (R&D, Sales, Marketing) - Evaluate and approve financial investments in key areas such as Research & Development, Sales and Marketing. - Ensure investments are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver expected returns. - Provide insights and recommendations based on financial reporting to support decision-making. **Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack** **Essential** - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent years of experience. - 7+ years with financial analysis experience, preferably with manufacturing/cost accounting experience. - Previous budgeting and forecasting experience as well as strong accounting skills for understanding the creation and flow of financial statements. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. - Ability to communicate and explain complex financial issues to non-financial professionals and to interact well with all levels within the organization. - Knowledge of various reporting systems preferred (Hyperion, Business Intelligence Tools). - Strong leadership skills and ability to positively influence both direct reports & dotted line partners in Sales. - Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized. - Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will work directly with clients on a project basis, providing strategic support based on a foundation of Norstella data. **Responsibilities:** You will focus on three key aspects: + Client project execution: You will work closely with the global Consulting & Analytics team to deliver client consulting projects to a high standard. While you will get involved in diverse projects, a key focus area will be on delivery of competitive intelligence projects. Key responsibilities include: + Playing a key role as a project manager in the area of Competitive Intelligence, including monitoring, conference coverage, primary research, and strategic workshops + Liaising with clients and project teams directly to design, manage, and deliver successful project outcomes + Working with the broader Consulting & Analytics team and resource managers to staff projects + Providing guidance and advice to project teams + Contributing directly to project execution including data collection/analysis, deliverable development, synthesis of findings and recommendations, and delivering those outcomes to clients. + Selling and business development: You will support the global sales organisation to develop and pursue Consulting & Analytics leads and opportunities. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
