Job Description
Responsible for providing exceptional guest service on the Slot floor. Duties include but are not limited to assisting guests with questions, verifying and paying jackpot winnings, and completing required paperwork.
* Perform minor machine maintenance, such as lock and unlock machine doors, clearing jams, replenishing paper, and resetting machines.
* Complete written department forms to document cash transactions, jackpot payouts, etc. in an accurate, legible manner.
* Develop, apply, and maintain a friendly and courteous rapport with customers and employees.
* Operate hand-held radio and be able to hear and speak clearly over it.
* Conduct slot floor activities to ensure protection of company property and funds; and maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas.
* Maintain secure key controls at all times.
* Pay and/or verify jackpot winnings to customers and complete required written documentation.
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must be knowledgeable about applicable gaming regulations and company policies.
* Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
* Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
* Maneuver a weight of fifty pounds
* Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

POSITION SUMMARY
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for contributing to the entertaining atmosphere at Belterra Park by greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly manner, and providing information regarding Belterra Park.

Delivers superior internal and external guest service the Boyd Gaming and works harmoniously with fellow team members
Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
Pays and verifies jackpots on slot machines according to established procedures.
Proactively promotes the Players Club card program; understands current card benefits and information and presents program to customers.
Communicates all customer service issues to key personnel.
Accurately maintains money flow during shift with customers and employees.
Accurately performs customer transactions.
Assists in training new personnel and customer trainees as needed.
Monitors work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are achieved and customer requests are addressed and resolved
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
Superior customer service, communication, and employee interaction skills.
Basic math skills required.
Money-handling and change-making skills.

Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation and print and write legibly.
Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area.
Ability to reach, carry and deliver change to customers and to maintain bank.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
This position spends majority of shift on the gaming floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
Must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
