Job Summary As a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Sanitarian at Flik, you'll play an integral role in ensuring world-class food and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: * Promote, implement, maintain, and verify Quality Assurance (QA) and safety reporting standards * Provide written feedback to unit managers and chefs regarding non-compliance observations * Work with managers to find solutions to QA challenges and crises * Liaise with clients, senior management, unit managers, and chefs on all QA issues * Participate in all BOH inspections and external audits * Train associates on all QA policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * 2+ years of food service experience required * 2 years of food safety inspection/auditing experience recommended * Knowledge of food safety (FDA food code) required * ServeSafe certification required * CP-FS credential recommended * 10 Hour OSHA Certification recommended * Ability to manage time efficiently and complete projects diligently * Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook * Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to converse calmly and effectively during crisis situations * Effective at planning and paying close attention to detail * Ability to work effectively without supervision, showing initiative, good judgment, and outstanding decision-making and problem-solving skills.
