We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Food Handler / Cashier to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing, handling, and serving food in a clean and safe manner, as well as operating the cash register and providing friendly, efficient service to customers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and following health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Food Handling & Preparation:
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of food prep areas and equipment.
Monitor food storage and handling practices to comply with food safety guidelines.
Ensure proper portion sizes and presentation of all menu items.
Assist with restocking supplies and ingredients as needed.
Cashier Duties:
Greet customers warmly and take food orders accurately.
Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments securely.
Issue receipts and correct change.
Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of shifts.
General:
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment at all times.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service and/or cashiering preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the bartenders in setting up and organizing the bar area before opening hours.
Ensure the bar is well-stocked with supplies, including liquor, mixers, glassware, garnishes, and other necessary items.
Retrieve and replenish beverages and ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
Clean and polish glassware, utensils, and bar equipment to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
Collect empty glasses and bottles from tables and bar counters, and properly dispose of them.
Prepare garnishes, such as fruit slices, for use in cocktails and drinks.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping the floor, and emptying trash bins.
Restock and organize the storage areas, such as liquor cabinets, refrigerators, and supply closets.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work on-site for assigned schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
