Job Description AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Winsted Minnesota facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the receipt and/or shipment of materials, supplies, and products. You will be working primarily in the yard in an enclosed forklift/spotter truck. Must be able to work outside in multiple weather conditions. Duties and Responsibilities Receive goods, verify order, inspect condition of goods Move product to and from storage, production areas, and loading dock via forklift Scale incoming & outgoing loads on truck scale Upload photos and documents into our system Coordinate outgoing shipments with shipping and receiving personal Verify identifying information - counts, weights, measurements, etc. against BOLs, invoices, orders and/or other records Performs daily inspection of equipment Follows all necessary processes and procedures in AZZ's truck driver policy Forklift experience preferred though not necessary Position will cross train to various other roles within production Qualifications 1 - 2 years related experience preferred. Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control and costs, knowledge of hand tools and equipment is preferred. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Certified forklift operator is preferred Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent is helpful . We are seeking a knowledgeable Machine Operator to join our team at Glenn Metalcraft Inc. The mission of the Machine Operator is to understand and operate machines and equipment at a basic level, such as configuration of equipment, loading and operating machines and robotic arms, and optimizing machine capability. The Machine Operator contributes to the overall success of the business through ensuring that production flows in a smooth and efficient manner and meets or exceeds the Elemet Group standard of quality. Key Tasks: Mix resin as directed. Place grinder at each press. Have material and auxiliary equipment properly tagged for use. Pull and clean hoppers and grinders at job's completion. Monitor dryers as needed. Must be able to set-up and troubleshoot all material auxiliary equipment. Must understand 5-S and Lean Manufacturing concept. Keep work areas clean and safe. Use 5-S suggestion form for set-up, process, or other improvements. Must have knowledge of plastic product material handling. Must be able to drive a forklift.
