As an imaging professional, the coordinator brings real-world expertise to the classroom, ensuring coursework aligns with the technical, ethical, and professional expectations of modern healthcare settings.
This position also serves as a liaison with clinical partners, coordinating student placements and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, imaging centers, and clinics. The position reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and collaborates with college leadership to manage program budgets, support recruitment and retention efforts, and advance the institution's mission to prepare students for meaningful careers in healthcare.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience necessary to meet the objectives of the job summary listed above and be faculty qualified according to Lake Region State College policy. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's level healthcare professional with current or previous certification and experience in diagnostic medical sonography. Experience in clinical imaging environments and previous teaching or training experience preferred.
SALARY: $50,000 - $67,000, depending on education and experience.

Schedule / perform preventive maintenance tasks on all processing equipment as necessary to maintain safe and legal products.
Perform preoperative / post maintenance verification inspections to ensure that equipment is intact and is free from build-up or other contaminants and as necessary for post maintenance / pre-operational line clearance.
Verify the function of processing equipment and product testing equipment according to the food safety program (i.e., magnets, etc.).
Process Modifications / Equipment Replacement:
Verify sanitary design standards are utilized when performing process modifications or equipment replacements.
Manage the inspection approval process when commissioning new processing equipment.
Work with management to verify that calibration records are current for food processing and product testing equipment.

The Health Center offers different specialties and is staffed by three full-time Physicians (MD), a podiatrist (MD) and 3 Nurse Practitioners. These providers are assisted by 8 nurses, 2 case managers, and 2 clinical appointment medical support assistants. Led by our certified diabetic educators and certified nutritionist, the clinic also runs a comprehensive diabetes prevention program with comprehensive screening, education, and treatment. Our Dental clinic is staffed with a chief of dentistry (DDS) three rotational Dentists (DDS) a full time dental hygienist, three dental assistants and a dental appointment medical assistant. The Behavioral Health Clinic is staffed with a full-time Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISCW), a part time LISCW, two psychiatric nurse practitioners, and a medical support assistant. Lastly, clinic operations are supported by a great team including our medical records staff, billing office staff, purchase referred care staff, clinical applications staff, information systems team, and an administrative department that are all focused on delivering the best quality of care for the patients that are seen at the facility.
