As part of the Water Design Center, Garver is seeking an Automation Specialist in Oklahoma. You will be responsible for developing PLC and HMI programs in support of various projects for Garver's Automation Team. Diversity in high-volume, custom plant projects will allow this programmer the opportunity to be hands-on and directly involved with clients. General responsibilities will include developing and commissioning PLC and SCADA HMI applications and providing technical support to internal and external customers as required for a variety of water and wastewater projects. Working closely with contractors and plant operators during construction and commissioning of automation control systems. Maintain and update documentation for existing automation control systems. Provide timely resolution and troubleshooting of technical issues related to instrumentation and automation control systems. Some travel may be required, as projects may require field work for site assessment of project locations and control system implementation during construction. Due to the collaborative nature of coordination for large infrastructure projects, candidates must have the ability to seek out and resolve issues through close interaction with other project team members. Garver is seeking a Project Manager in Tulsa or Oklahoma City to join our established Oklahoma Region Water Team working on water, wastewater, and reuse specific facility and infrastructure projects The Project Manager will manage projects consisting of design reports, studies, technical memoranda, detailed plans, and specifications. The Project Manager must be capable of working closely with clients to ensure their expectations of services are exceeded. The Project Manager will also assist the Oklahoma Regional Team Leader in managing and mentoring internal staff, coordinating schedules, monitoring budgets, and ensuring the delivery of quality products that adhere to Garver standardization. This Project Manager will also be included in client meetings and at industry conferences on behalf of Garver and the Water Business Line. Responsibilities may include design and managing a variety of projects related to: Water conveyance and distribution, including pump stations and storage facilities Wastewater conveyance and collection, including lift stations and force mains Pipeline inspection and rehabilitation Water, Wastewater, Reuse master planning Water, Wastewater, Reuse treatment facilities and infrastructure In addition to design, this role will include coordination with other support disciplines, coordination with regulating agencies, and quality assurance and quality control. Periodic travel will be required on an as-needed basis for projects, conferences, marketing, and other duties. Candidates will be familiar following routine functions: Be technically competent with water or wastewater engineering and civil engineering Manage scope, budget, and schedule for a team of project engineers, design engineers, and CAD Technicians in the development of water projects Manage project budgets including the development of detailed project instructions, scope of work, level of effort, and associated man-hour estimates Be responsible for time management and work product quality Keep accurate and up-to-date project accounting on all assigned projects Conduct written and oral project reporting for clients and Team Leader(s). Garver is seeking an Roadway Project Engineer (Entry Level) to join our growing Transportation Team in Tulsa or South Oklahoma City, OK to continue the tradition of providing quality service to our clients. Responsibilities in this position will include: Assisting in the design and creation of construction documents on a wide variety of transportation projects. Different roadway design components include typical sections, geometric layouts, drainage and hydraulic analysis, erosion control plans, safety features and maintenance of traffic plans. Assignments will also involve tasks associated with producing a set of construction documents including drafting, quantity computations, specifications, and cost estimates. Training younger engineers. Managing task assignments for younger engineers and technicians. As part of the Buildings team for Garver, this MEP Team Leader will be responsible for growing the Buildings practice in the Oklahoma City area. Specifically, this responsibility will include: Building and leading a multi-discipline engineering team that supports architectural clients. Developing regional architectural firms as Garver and Buildings Team clients. Providing engineering support for architectural clients particularly structural, mechanical, and electrical. Managing projects and providing discipline specific design. In addition, this role will include coordination with other internal teams across Garver's regional footprint. Abilities and attributes needed for this position: Discipline specific building design experience - mechanical or electrical engineering design related to buildings.
