Responsibilities of the German Teaching Fellow:
Teach several sections of German courses for middle and/or upper school students.
Support individual students with skill instruction while observing classes.
Work with a mentor, and participate in a cohort with other fellows to learn new skills and techniques to build your teaching tool kit.
Participate in professional development activities to expand knowledge and skillset as a teacher.
Coach or provide support for extra-curriculars activities.
Chaperone a weekend activity (if applicable).
May live on campus and supervise/participate in residential life duties (if applicable).
Qualifications of the German Teaching Fellow:
Bachelor's degree in German, Education, or related required. 2026 grads welcome!
Recent or upcoming graduate with teaching, tutoring, or extra-curricular experience.
Proven written and verbal proficiency in German.
Interest to contribute to school community outside of the classroom as an athletic coach, student advisor, student club leader, or otherwise preferred.
Work collaboratively with other teachers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
U.S. Work Authorization required.

Must be an effective communicator with a friendly, professional customer service-oriented manner; Must have a background in solving computer-related problems logically and methodically. * Aids the head coach in the organization and operation of an effective and competitive soccer program.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assists the head coach with the daily operations of the men's volleyball program at North Park University.
Analyze performance and instruct athletes in volleyball techniques and strategies in preparation for and during athletics competition.
Assist with all phases of competitive NCAA and CCIW compliant recruiting.
Execute practice and match planning/evaluation, including video exchange and breakdown.
Ensure a commitment to the academic success of volleyball student-athletes, including monitoring academic performance, attendance, and social behavior.
Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
Manage equipment usage.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Head Men's Volleyball Coach, Assistant Vice President for Athletics, and Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree is required.
Applicant must obtain acceptance in a North Park University graduate program.
Coaching or playing experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of volleyball at the collegiate level are required.
Applicants must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e., frequent nights and weekends) and lift and move athletic equipment.
A valid driver's license is required, and applicant must be able to travel with the team, by vehicle or plane.

Concordia University Chicago invites applications for the Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach position. This 24-month position includes ensuring compliance with CUC, Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC), and NCAA Division III rules. The individual must be highly motivated to inspire student-athletes to maximize their potential in the weight room and sport. This position works under the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach to promote and create a positive training environment for the student-athletes of Concordia University Chicago.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, high personal integrity, knowledge and commitment to the NACC rules and regulations, and a desire to become a strength & conditioning professional in the collegiate or professional setting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for assigned sports as directed by the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
Provide instruction for safe and effective lifting techniques and equipment used
Routine organization of the fitness center, including daily cleaning duties and equipment set up / break down for team training sessions
Conduct athlete assessments and strength testing
Communicate regularly with sports coaches and Athletic Training staff
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
