**Job Description**
The Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader for Electrical Power Systems Engineering will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to design, develop, and deliver advanced electrical power systems for ground vehicle and aerospace applications. This role requires a strong technical background in engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept through production.
Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and set of structured processes. **Key Responsibilities:**

Responsibilities:

The main office, housing the trial and appellate divisions, is in downtown West Palm Beach and there are four branch offices in other areas of the county.
Divisions include: County Court; Felony; Mental Health; Major Crimes; Youth Defense; Appeals; and Investigative & Social Services' Units.
Investigator interns are unpaid/volunteer and enrolled typically in school. Often interns receive course credit, or work here as part of a clinic assignment. Applicants must maintain total confidentiality, be honest, and possess integrity and demonstrate a commitment to the mission of the 15th Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office.
The Investigators' team is comprised of a diverse group of 10 people (on average), who typically possess a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or psychology. The Investigator Intern Program provides the PD-15 with interns so that college students have an opportunity to learn and train, free of charge, in the field of criminal investigation, which exposes interns to an exciting and rewarding career path.
Our interns, if enrolled in an academic program, can receive school credit for their intern participation. PD-15's Investigators' team assigns each intern to a mentor investigator whom interns observe conducting client interviews prior to first appearances, interviewing witnesses, and tracking down leads. Interns eventually work independently to: conduct client interviews at the jail; track down information; locate and interview witnesses; review case files; and examine, diagram, and photograph crime scenes. Investigator interns learn about and use research- and legal-computer programs, participate in a security class at the jail, pass a background check, and have reliable transportation for traveling to/fr the office and to/fr the jail. Interns must also have availability on three days of the week/24 hours a week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Each program offers immersive, hands-on experience through rotational placements across key departments; along with leadership training, mentorship, and shadowing opportunities to foster growth and career development.
Club Operational Rotational Internship - Interns rotate through various club departments (membership services, events, housekeeping, accounting/human resources and retail) to gain a comprehensive understanding of private club operations. The program includes leadership training, shadowing senior managers, and mentorship to develop valuable skills in team management, customer relations, and strategic operations.
Food and Beverage Internship - This program exposes interns to key food and beverage roles, from service to kitchen management, purchasing, and guest relations. Interns will rotate through front-of-house and heart-of-house operations, learning about leadership in food service, management, menu design, and member experience, with opportunities for mentorship and shadowing experienced industry professionals.

Qualifications
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.
Must be a Hospitality personality; hospitable, approachable, and personable. We are seeking someone to fit our culture!
Leadership skills experience to showcase your initiative (Preferred not required)
Strong attention to detail.
Additionally, must possess a basic knowledge of hospitality operations (May be of the game of golf or general food and beverage knowledge depending on program).
Must be able to lift, push and pull 20-60 pounds.
Must be able to communicate with people in a quick, courteous, and professional manner.
Must be able to multi-task.
Education & Work Experience Requirements:
A High School Diploma and/or GED are required.
Enrolled in, or graduate of, a college or University
Degree in progress or completed within a Hospitality program or similar degree (Preferred but not required)
