Summary:
The William & Mary School of Education is recruiting a pool of persons for the 2025-2026 academic year to be considered for possible university supervisor positions. The university supervisor is responsible for mentoring and supervising W&M teacher candidates during their student teaching experience and is the instructor of record for student teaching. Supervisors observe the student teachers 5 times across a semester in K-12 public school settings, provide coaching, formatively evaluate their performance, provide written feedback, and facilitate conferences with each student-teacher-cooperating teacher pair. In addition, the supervisor completes two formal, evaluations of each student teacher's performance, and serves as a liaison between the university and area schools. The university supervisor is required to attend one training session per year.
Only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Hired candidates are required to provide official transcripts before the contracted start date. Description & Details: The Department of Sociology and Anthropology seeks a Cultural Anthropology Lecturer to begin in Fall 2026. We seek a cultural anthropologist who is ethnographically grounded, works in the area of medical anthropology, and can support the teaching goals of the Anthropology Program and department more generally. The successful candidate will be required to teach seven classes a year (4/3 teaching load) with advising responsibilities. This would break down to 80% teaching and 20% advising and engaged learning.
In addition, the position will require the Lecturer to support engaged learning and advising. Specifically, the successful candidate will help administer the experiential learning requirement that is part of the major's required coursework. In addition, they will advise undergraduate students (generally assigned 5-8 students). In addition, the candidate must work effectively with colleagues and students in an interdisciplinary setting.

Graduate Research Assistant

MUST BE A NDSU STUDENT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT. MUST HAVE AN AGREEMENT IN PLACE WITH AN ADVISOR IN THE DEPARTMENT. Primary research responsibilities include working with your advisors (Drs. Zac Carlson and Miranda Meehan) on research projects being conducted within the research program. This includes taking leadership for data collection, analysis, and eventual preparation of manuscripts for publication. Responsibilities will include daily feeding and managing livestock on experiments, organizing and managing sample collections, recording research data, data analyses (both laboratory and statistical) associated with research efforts, and prepare research summaries, including but not limited to your MS project. There is also the expectation that during your MS program, you will assist with other research projects associated with your advisor's research programs. Graduate research assistantships at 20 hours per week infer that 20 hours a week are for work directed towards the broader research program, while your individual MS-focused efforts are associated with the remaining 20 hours.
Complete MS degree requirements as outlined in the NDSU Graduate Bulletin and the Animal Sciences Graduate Student Handbook. You will be expected that maintain an appropriate GPA on course work, create a plan of study and establish your supervisory committee by the end of your first semester. You will be required to present a thesis to your graduate committee, with associated manuscripts in the acceptable format for publication in the Journal of Animal Science or other peer-reviewed journals based on agreement with your advisor.
Assist with Extension and outreach efforts related to ruminant nutrition and grazing systems. Responsibilities include participation in stakeholder meeting related to your research, present material at meetings and Extension workshops, and aid in the development educational materials.

Assistantship appointments may vary in length and are contingent upon the availability of funding. Terms on duties and responsibilities will be provided on the graduate assistantship contract.

Minot State University - Esports Graduate Assistant Minot State University invites applications for a Graduate Assistant position in the growing Minot State Esports program. The position requires working knowledge of popular collegiate esports titles (such as Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and others) and interest in continuing to build esports programming. The GA will assist in organizing teams, running practices and matches, building a social media presence through multimedia content production, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of at least one of the game titles listed above and must be a graduate student at Minot State University. This is a half-time (up to 20 hours/week) graduate assistant position with an anticipated start date of August 25, 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Duties
Along with the esports director, head coach, and other team members, the GA duties may include (but are not limited to):
* Streaming/broadcasting MSU Esports matches on Twitch and/or other platforms
* Assisting with team practices and matches as assigned by the Head Coach
* Creating and posting social media content, including short-form videos, match previews, and event notifications
* Engaging with campus and community partners in outreach events
* Assisting with new student recruitment efforts
* Analyzing player data for use in practices and matches
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and knowledge of at least one of the core titles in the MSU Esports program (Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League, and/or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate) are required. Candidates with experience in K-12 or collegiate esports, education, multimedia production, data science, coaching and/or community outreach are especially encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:

This Teaching Assistant role provides a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the instructional environment, assisting with lesson preparation, classroom management, and providing tailored support to meet diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed staff in the classroom by helping implement academic adaptations and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Work with students individually or in small groups to support their self-care and social/behavioral needs.
- Maintain a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
- Provide timely support for students in crisis situations.
- Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications
Education:
- 60 college credits or higher, OR one of the following:
- A passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment (65% or higher on the Instructional Support test and 70% or higher on the Knowledge and Application test)
- A passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment (combined score of 460 or above)
Language & Authorization:
- Professional proficiency in English.
- U.S. Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance).
Experience:
- Prior experience working with children in a structured setting is an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the day
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)
- Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process
Preferred Qualifications
- ParaPro Certification (upskilling options provided on a case-by-case basis for candidates without the standard educational background)
- Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children is an asset.
- Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs is an asset.
Salary
Pay: $18 - $21 per hour, paid weekly. (for low to medium sped support)*
Pay: $22 - $23 per hour, paid weekly. (for high sped support - prior experience required)*
Schedule: Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).

Valley City State University is searching for a Graduate Assistant within their Men's and Women's Track & Field program. Responsibilities include developing, directing, and advancing competitive programs. This position will help identify, recruit, and select quality student-athletes; assist in the organization and planning of practice and competitive strategies in their specialty; oversee athletes' skill and physical development; monitor student-athletes' academic progress, performance, and retention, lead and motivate student-athletes to maximize their potential; assist with administrative duties; enforce team rules; demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and commitment to compliance with Valley City State University, NSAA conference/NAIA national policies, rules, and regulations. This position will participate in program and departmental fundraising, public relations, and promotional efforts; participate/coach/teach in program camps/clinics for the track & field/cross country programs; and work effectively with department support services personnel to enhance the welfare and personal, social, academic, and athletic development of student-athletes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree by the start date, experience coaching or competing in cross country and/or track & field, and acceptance into the VCSU Graduate program by the upcoming academic year are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coaching and competing at the collegiate level in cross country/track & field, training experience necessary to compete at the NAIA level, highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic, strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Office programs, a valid driver's license, ability to recruit and communicate with highly talented student-athletes, and knowledge of NSAA conference and NAIA national policies, rules, and regulations are preferred.
Salary/Benefits
$3000 per semester, tuition waiver, free housing and a meal stipend. This contract will run from January 1, 2026, until May 29, 2026.
