A Successful FASTSIGNS GraphicDesigner / Production Designer Will:
Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
Work with clients to quickly and accurately proof and approve projects. Work with teammates to make sure jobs are printed for successful production and installation.
Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure that the correct material is used for each job and that the output device settings are accurate. Manage print media inventory and operate the printer, plotter, and finishing table.
Maintain customer job files and logo library; convert graphic files
Cross-train with teammates and answer customer calls, create simple estimates, and complete sign production as needed.

Guidelines:
Work with Store Management, Buyers and Visual Manager to meet corporate, store, image, and marketing objectives
Utilize creativity to create a welcoming environment to customers
Provide a setting conducive to meeting customer needs and wants while contributing to increased volume and sales
Read and implement changes sent by Corporate: Set Floor Models (lists), Table List, Comforter List, Rug Lists, etc
Make sure all Furniture and accessories are tagged with current prices, side sliders, floor sample tags, etc.
Work with management to make sure everything is on floor that is slated for floor
Make sure all POP is current on the floor (Check BMS weekly to make sure you have every piece of POP that you should have) posters, banners, etc.
Open all accessories and have all out on floor in a timely manner when they are received
Work with Inventory Specialists to ensure any merchandise moved to a different location is scanned for accurate store and company inventory
Run AIR report every Monday to determine what items are needed for your floor based on the store Rating System.
Be available for floor walk thru to ensure items are displayed in a positive way
Keep up with all price tags in new items being put on the floor. Work with warehouse to make sure all inventory tags are put in the correct location
Qualities:
Should have flair for design and color

Be able to concentrate well and work within tight deadlines
Be able to use large and small spaces effectively
Be self-motivated and practical
Minimum Qualifications:
Sales and Decorating with Big Sandy or other retailer
Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

GRAPHICDESIGNER CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBLES
▪︎Provide proofs as necessary for customer approval.
▪︎Perform daily/weekly computer back-ups; archive files as necessary.
▪︎Maintain equipment including computers.
▪︎Maintain accurate electronic record of File Storage and Disks following brand standards.
▪︎Communicate with other employees, Sales/Service members on job requirements, timing, and special needs; Production team on job input and output; Production Manager/Center Manager on inventory needs for computer supplies.
▪︎Prioritize each day to schedule the workflow efficiently and cost-effectively.
▪︎Determine the best output method based on the customer's need.
▪︎Read and interpret a Work Order.
▪︎Work with co-workers and customers with file transfers, FTP access, photo library options, online proofs, etc.
▪︎Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
▪︎Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction according to instructions of client or supervisor
▪︎Allocate appropriate amount of time to each Work Order.
▪︎Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output.
▪︎Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate.
▪︎Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files.
▪︎Image Sourcing: locate photos, understand copyright laws and release/usage requirements.
▪︎Knowledge of resources to buy stock images, work with service bureaus to create output beyond store capability, and understand resolution options and optimal enlargement specifications from image vendors and image originals.
▪︎Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals for weekly sales meetings.
▪︎Participate in center staff and sales meetings.
▪︎Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
▪︎Identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues.
▪︎Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments.
▪︎Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
▪︎Contact customers within 3-5 days or order pick-up/delivery to confirm customer satisfaction.
▪︎Participate in and practice the brand mentality of “Everybody Sells”. Constantly be looking for sales opportunities for the center.
▪︎Serve as a backup for answering the phone if the Franchisee, manager and sales/service employees are busy assisting other customers.
▪︎Assist at the front counter as needed.
▪︎Understand the sales process enough to consult with customers to determine project needs and solutions.
▪︎Serve as first point of contact for walk-in, email, E-commerce and telephone customers.
▪︎Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with customers and decision makers.
▪︎Consultatively sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients using various products and Brand Standards.
▪︎Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone, marketing and email activity.
▪︎Complete all paperwork and follow established center procedures from initiation through completion of a project (i.e., Work Order, credit approvals, POS entry, pre-payment collection, artwork approval, delinquent account collection, reporting).
▪︎Prepare estimates and establish/maintain estimate follow-up procedures.
▪︎Communicate with customers on order status and changes the production schedule.
▪︎Maintain an attractive retail environment (clean, organized and functional).
