Job Description C2's client, a vibrant, quasi-governmental agency powering Milwaukee's leading live events venues-is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer for an immediate, full-time contract role. This is a rare opportunity to step into the heart of a dynamic events environment, support a high-volume marketing and communications team, and potentially “audition” for a future direct hire position as their team grows. Start Date: ASAP (ideally while an outgoing designer is available to provide transition support).
Duration: 3-4 months contract with potential for extension or direct hire
Location: Onsite at the client's Milwaukee, WI office (Central Standard Time, 8-5 with a 1-hour lunch, some schedule flexibility available).
Compensation:$32-$35 /hour as a W2 employee of C2, with a target conversion salary of $70,000-$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Technology: Company will provide required Mac hardware and all necessary creative software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Mailchimp, WordPress, Ontraport, and more).
Key Responsibilities
Design graphics and visual assets (print, digital, swag, signage, and more) to elevate the brand across live event marketing campaigns and venue communications
Update and build web pages in WordPress (no coding required), ensuring alignment with brand standards and event needs
Collaborate closely with the marketing and communications teams to support fast-moving, high-impact event deliverables
Translate stakeholder and event briefs into effective, on-brand creative-often within short timelines
Juggle multiple projects and priorities, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a “let's get it done” attitude
Ensure all materials are production-ready and delivered on time for venue deadlines
Support brand consistency and maintain an exceptional standard for visual communications
Qualifications
Required:
4+ years professional experience in graphic design-preferably in events, marketing, advertising, agency, or hospitality environments
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience designing for multiple channels: print collateral, signage, digital/social, and event-related graphics
Familiarity with WordPress; ability to update/build pages with provided formats and assets
Strong production and prepress skills
Comfortable working on a Mac
Excellent time management and positive, adaptable “no task is too small” mindset
Nice to Have:
Experience with Mailchimp, Ontraport, or similar email and CRM tools
Background working in live events or large-scale venue marketing
