In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: * Perform field inspection of energized electrical equipment including panelboards, disconnects, MCCs, vaults, and transformers, generally operating at low voltage (≤480V), with occasional work involving medium-voltage systems (5 kV-15 kV) such as transformers, junction vaults, switches, and switchgear. * Install and remove load monitoring equipment (current transformers, data loggers, etc.) for NEC 220.87 load studies. * Collect and record electrical system data for coordination, short-circuit, and arc-flash studies. * Prepare field reports, photos, and one-line markups documenting existing conditions. * Review electrical drawings for constructability and assist with QA/QC. * Follow NFPA 70E and LOTO safety procedures at all times. * Report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate with electrical engineers and designers. * Travel within the region and occasionally to out-of-state projects.
