Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direction of the Security Manager or designee, the off duty Armed Police Officer (APO) is responsible for the protection of the facility's assets, people and programs. The APO establishes a positive Security image by being highly visible and vigilant to fire, health and safety hazards as well as criminal threats. McAllen Hospitalist Group is actively recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our established medical team of 50+ physicians. We are seeking qualified hospitalist doctors who are interested in participating in our comprehensive resident training program.
Position Details:
2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off rotation
6PM- 6AM
180 shifts per year
Engage in focused patient care in a closed ICU setting, no procedures or codes
Position Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Texas Medical License or eligibility.
Spanish-speaking ability is welcomed but not mandatory.
