Pathology Services consists of over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Among our top priorities is employing the best talent to advance care for our patients. **Qualified Candidates:** + AP/CP certification is required + Over 2 years of practicing experience preferred + Proficiency in general surgical pathology, clinical interpretations, and must have recent experience performing frozen sections + Subspecialty training or expertise in breast or lung pathology + Active Florida Medical License and/or FCVS is a plus **Pathology Volume/Cases:** + Volumes - approximately 3,100 surgical cases per year, 200 cytology cases per year, and 9 to 10 peripheral smears per week + Procedures - 9 to 10 per week (frozen sections for sentinel nodes, lungs, ortho PMN counts, skin, brain) + Blake has approximately 380 beds with a Level II Trauma Center and Burn Center.
