We are seeking a professional Registrar for our ambulatory surgery center. You will be responsible for ensuring that patients are admitted efficiently, courteously, and in a timely manner. Job Summary and Qualifications
The Case Management Assistant (CMA) provides clinical administrative support in assisting with patient referrals and discharges. This position will assist both the RN Case Manager and the Case Management Social Worker with discharge referrals, follow-up for coordination and confirmation of discharges, assisting in arranging transportation and all other clinical administrative functions of case management discharge planning. The CMA will also assist the Case Management Director or designee with department audits for reporting purposes and any other administrative functions as delegated by the Director of Case Management to support and facilitate the patient discharges and administrative management of the department.
* Coordinates with RN case manager and social worker for support needed. Communicates updates on progress throughout the day. Refers patient questions back to the case manager/social worker.
* Provides clerical support in multidisciplinary rounds, including updating NATE Tempo at direction of team.
* Makes referrals through the web-based referral system (nH Discharge/other) to the specific post-acute care (PAC) providers requested. Includes sending the appropriate packet of information from the medical record required for the level of care.
* Monitors patients with PAC referrals and intervenes to expedite discharge.

* Sends additional information to PAC provider when requested.

+ Secures information relating to patients resources and benefits.
+ Demonstrates clinical knowledge of rehab admission criteria, leading to appropriate identification of qualified rehab patients.
+ Advises referral sources on inpatient rehab criteria.

Under the direction of the Director, supervises and performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation or other forms of energy. Job Summary and Qualifications
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director, supervises and performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation or other forms of energy. This person will work in concert with the Director of Diagnostic Services to help facilitate a good workflow within the department. Directly responsible for support staff and will work with the Director in the daily operation of the department. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality and positive attitude as Manager of Diagnostic Imaging.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provides leadership and supervision of non-technical staff in assigned section to provide for orderly work flow and quality performance of duties.
2. Works collegially with the leads in all areas of Diagnostic Imaging to help optimize cost reductions.
3. Works with the PACS Administrator to help facilitate PACS issues.
4. Initiates counseling sessions in accordance with Positive Performance guidelines. Reports and documents problems relating to staffing morale, work, methods, procedures, transfers, and recommends action in all personnel matter for those personnel assigned to him, in consultation with the Director.
5. Participates in and oversees ongoing program to provide for an organized atmosphere and pleasant appearance of the physical plant especially in those areas accessible to patients.
6. Monitors condition, care and maintenance of diagnostic Radiologic equipment. Provides for documentation of problems, response time of service organization and completion of repair. Deals directly with service organizations to ensure adequate equipment care according to established parameters.
7. Demonstrates Customer Service Pride principles and behaviors appropriately. Assists the Director in customer service monitoring and AIDET compliance.
8. Coordinates and participates in formal and continuing education programs of the department, instructs and demonstrates specific techniques, initiation of new procedures and use of equipment.
9. Participates in the administration of policies and procedures of the hospital and department, and provides for fair and impartial application to all employees, participates, as necessary, in a variety of tasks relative to the management of the Radiology Department such as preparation of reports, surveys, and special projects.
10. Adheres to prescribed standards of Radiation Safety; participate in the Quality Improvement and Safety programs.
11. Ensures appropriate recording of hours worked, adhering to hospital policy. Supervises Kronos for the department under the direction of the Director
12. Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, qualify of care or the services delivered.
13. Demonstrates knowledge of the occurrence reporting system. Uses system to report potential patient safety issues.
14. Follows established guidelines for reporting a significant medical error or unanticipated outcome in the patient's care which results in patient harm.
15. Attends in-service presentations and completes all mandatory education requirements on or before the due date.
16. Uses Performance Improvement Plan to improve patient safety.
17. Regular, punctual and dependable attendance.
18. Responsible for Meditech Radiology module updates and testing. Coordinates downtimes procedures with PACs Administrator and the Supervisors of the department.
19. Responsible for Dolbey functions to include ensuring all Imaging reports are processed and are in Meditech. Ensures that addendums for reports are done as needed for billing purposes
20. Assist the Director in addressing concerns and issues of patients, Radiologist, and Medical Staff.
21. Assist the Director with ordering
What qualifications you will need:
* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
* Associate Degree
* (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-M) Mammography, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-T) Radiation Therapy
