The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of construction plumbing practices and jobsite safety, as well as the ability to coordinate with other trades. **Responsibilities** + Install, assemble, and secure PVC piping systems for sanitary, storm, and water distribution systems. + Perform underground plumbing work, including layout, excavation coordination, and installation of PVC pipe. + Set pipe elevations and slopes per project plans, and coordinate backfill and inspection readiness. + Perform overhead plumbing installations, including running and supporting PVC piping above ceilings and within structures. + Install hangers, supports, and seismic bracing as required. + Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. + Cut, fit, solvent-weld, and seal PVC pipe and fittings, including plumbing fixtures, cleanouts, vents, and sleeves. + Conduct pressure testing, leak checks, and inspections per code and project requirements. + Collaborate with general contractors, supervisors, and other trades to maintain project schedules. + Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all OSHA and site safety standards. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 2-5 years of construction plumbing experience. + Strong experience working with PVC pipe systems. + Proven experience in underground plumbing installation. + Proven experience in overhead or above-ceiling piping. + Ability to read and follow construction drawings and layouts. + Familiar with plumbing codes and jobsite safety requirements. + Ability to lift heavy materials, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces. + Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Journeyman certification (if applicable). + Experience on commercial or large-scale projects. + Knowledge of testing procedures for underground and overhead piping. + Experience working with inspectors and passing inspections. + Ability to work independently or as part of a crew **Work Environment** Work at an active construction site with exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. Tasks will include work in trenches, on ladders, scaffolding, and overhead. This is a full-time position with potential overtime based on project needs. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as cut-resistant gloves, a class C safety helmet, and high-visibility attire are required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davisboro, GA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
