The anticipated start date for this position will be in March and could potentially extend for the remainder of 2026. This position will be posted for five business days from January 15, 2026, to January 21, 2026.
Summary
In this position, you can assist in a variety of job function within Gas Operations. Work ranges from performing leak survey of our gas system to performing maintenance, installation and repair of our gas facilities. These positions work with regulation, metering, odorization, customer piping and below and above ground piping.
Minimum Requirement:
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

There are two levels of gas helpers entry level and advanced. In order to be considered for placement in the advanced level, applicant must meet all requirements outlined above along with work experience in natural gas, polyfusion, possession of a CDL (Class A), operation of heavy equipment.
Placement within the two levels will be commensurate with candidate's skills, education, experience and need. Applicant is required to successfully pass the Xcel Energy screening requirements, which includes security clearance.

Fit and install appliances and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and dishwashers
Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand/power tools or machinery
Assemble pipe sections, valves, and fittings using appropriate techniques and materials
Conduct quality checks and perform tests to ensure leak-free installations
Follow detailed blueprints and installation instructions
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve workflow
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support other duties as needed to keep production running smoothly
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and installation instructions
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
Team player mindset with the ability to also work independently
Dependable work ethic and eagerness to learn
Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and bending for extended periods
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time.
Salary Based on Experience:
$17-$30

We're looking for an ASE - certified Journeyman Service Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs that keep our customers safely on the road. If you're motivated, skilled, and ready to grow in a supportive, family-owned dealership, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately
Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, AC, etc.)
Communicate clearly with Service Advisors and provide accurate repair time estimates
Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer standards
What We're Looking For
ASE Certification required
2+ years of experience preferred
Diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills (B level qualifications)
Strong troubleshooting ability and use of diagnostic equipment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
