* As a senior Preservationist, the incumbent performs journey-level trade work related to historic preservation and provides expertise and/or training to lower-level positions.
* Perform a variety of journey-level preservation trade work needed to build, maintain, restore, and/or preserve historic structures and landscapes. Such structures and landscapes include but are not limited to historic buildings, ancestral Puebloan sites, monuments, memorials, markers, signs, etc.
* Identify and document of various forms of historic fabric. Evaluate the condition of historic masonry, wooden, and metal structural elements.
* Assists in the inspection of historic structures, sites, and landscapes to determine physical condition and the type and amount of maintenance required to maintain proper condition and make technical recommendations to specialists regarding preservation treatments.

Under direct supervision, the General Laborer is responsible for installing, removing, and washing of composite mats, installing/removing environmental containment for construction, and any other service required for T&D, pipeline, construction, and O&G industries. The use of hand and power tools may be required to ensure proper installation of containment and mats on customer sites. All tools must be maintained and utilized in the proper manner, informing management of any issues. General Laborers are also responsible for the safe use of equipment on site including the cleanliness of worksite and fleet vehicles. Position requires outside work - working in all weather conditions. May perform special projects as assigned.
- Ability to follow exact direction.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (skid steers, front end loaders).
- Must have hand tool knowledge.
- Must be able to adhere to all safety and quality procedures - all related OSHA, EPA, DEQ, and DOT safety rules and regulations in concurrence with NPK Policies and Procedures.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills required to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (day, night, weekends and/or holidays) and ability to be on call - attendance, punctuality and timeliness is a must.
- Ability to assist with installing/removing mats - liner experience preferred but not required.
- Valid DL.
- PEC Safeland preferred.
- Construction and Transmission & Distribution experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen/physical.
Education & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or educational equivalent. Entry level. Basic knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and processes. Good analytical skills.

Coordinate with job Superintendent/Foreman to configure pipe system layout.
Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions.
Assemble materials at job site.
Cut, thread, and hammer pipes according to pipe system specs.
Use saws and cutting torches to craft proper pipe sizes.
Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machine.
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections, using valve keys or wrenches.
Remove and replace worn components.
Ability to read Isometric Drawings.
Perform other duties as required.
