    • Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and codes. • Studies building plans for determining work aids and sequence of installations. • Locates and marks positions of pipes, pipe connections, and passage holes for pipe in walls and floors. • Bends, cuts, and threads pipe using pipe cutters, cutting torch and machines. • Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipe composed of metals, glass vitrifies, clay and plastic. • Joins pipe using screws, bolts, solder, plastic solvents and caulk. • Leak tests pipe systems using water and gases. • Install and repair plumbing fixtures, sinks, dishwashers, commodes and hot water heater tanks. • Repair and maintain leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, opening clogged drains, stationary drainage, storm water, storm drainage, vents, sizing sanitary drainage and protecting potable water supply. • Other duties as assigned. • Five years' experience in plumbing trade. • Journeyman license preferred. • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and appliances required for installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures. • Ability to follow maintenance instructions, service, diagnose systems and complete repairs. • Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations. • Must have current driver's license and a clean motor vehicle report (MVR). • Must successfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check. • Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
