Responsibilities Support the CARE values of the organization. Commit to producing a quality product for our customers. Operate machinery to create shipping packages. Assemble, line, and pad shipping boxes. Pack cabinetry parts and pieces in shipping boxes and apply product label to the boxes. Seal shipping boxes using box stapler and tape gun or feed into automatic tape machine. Offload sealed boxes from packing line and into warehouse storage area. Remove defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Experience in woodworking or carpentry preferred. Knowledge of how to add and subtract measurements. Proficient with reading measuring devices to include tape measures, straight ruler, and levels. Able to identify proper tools needed to complete tasks and use them effectively. Detail Oriented Working Relationship Communication is required across all levels of the organization- executive team, other functional leaders, subordinates, and production floor workers. The Parts Wrapper works under the immediate supervision of the Department Supervisor. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift/move in excess of 50 lbs. at a time Stand, walk, stoop, and perform motions for an extended period PPE Safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes at all times while on the production floor.
