Job Description
The Travel Pharmacy Technician will ensure that medication orders received from clients are entered promptly and accurately into the company pharmacy software program. The Travel Pharmacy Technician will provide excellent customer service. The Travel Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
Handle cash/credit card transactions and accurately enter sales information.
Manage prescription signature log.
Input orders in a timely and accurate manner using the company pharmacy software program.
Verify all information is complete in accordance with the most current version of the Oklahoma Pharmacy Law Book.
Respond to customer inquiries as necessary.
Verify all information is complete on the prescription.
Communicate with clients / facilities to alert them to any issues during the data entry process including any known inventory shortage, special order or recall.
Update patient profile with all the necessary information from prescription. Ensuring that patients allergies, therapies and current medication are updated.
Assist with finding lost or missed orders on request.
Answer inbound facility phone calls.
Receive and store incoming Prescriptions, verify quantities against manifests, check for outdated medications in current inventory.
Communicate directly with patients, pharmacists, and clinic staff.
Skills:
Ability to analyze, read and interpret doctors orders.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work with little direct supervision.
Frequent use of basic math skills-ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; this may include using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be familiar with brand/generic drug names and general pharmacy terminology.
Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
Requirements:
High school Diploma or equivalent
Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Technician Permit preferred without disciplinary restrictions.
Pre employment background and driving record check (travel is necessary)
Pre- employment drug screen.
1+ years experience as Data Entry in a retail setting/Long Term Care Pharmacy preferred.
Experienced with pharmacy computer software programs.
Must complete required Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Technician training according to the standards of the board.
Must complete any other job-related training that may occur.
Technician must abide by all state and federal laws regarding the appropriate labeling and dispensing of prescription medications.
Must know, understand and follow HIPPA regulations.
Ability to work agreed upon schedule.
Must be punctual and dependable for assigned shifts.

PHYSICIANS:
Facilitates the application process for physician privileges and compliance with Fresenius Medical Care Medical Staff By-Laws.
Responsible for strong physician relationships and ensures regular and effective communication.
Participates in Governing Body, an interdisciplinary team for each region including MSWs, Dietitians, MDs, DOs etc. that governs policies.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
Current appropriate state licensure.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Required:
6+ years business operations experience in a healthcare facility.
12 months experience in clinical nursing.
6 months chronic or acute dialysis nursing experience.
Successfully pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test.
Preferred but not required:
3+ years supervisory or project/program management experience.
Med/surg or ICU/CCU experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Day-to-day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with patients, facility staff, and physicians
Position may require travel between assigned facilities and various locations within the community and/or travel to regional, business unit, and corporate meetings may be required.

Responsibilities
Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision required.
Physical Therapist temporary letter will be accepted until license is issued required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree preferred.

Essential Performance Expectations
Education
Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Experience
Experience is preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology registered or attainment of registration within one year of employment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
