WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, boilers, pumps, air compressors, exhaust, and utility systems supporting cleanroom and production areas
Monitor and respond to Building Management System (BMS) alarms, trends, and performance issues
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs using CMMS work orders, including filter changes, inspections, and equipment servicing
Support DI water, chilled and hot water systems, compressed air, and process utilities
Respond quickly to facility alarms, equipment failures, and emergency service requests
Escort and oversee contractors and vendors to ensure safe and compliant work
Apply LOTO, PPE, and safety procedures while working on critical systems
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Position Responsibilities:
Performs basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs to all types of equipment; documents equipment status before and after rental (including work order detail during repair), communicates equipment issues to customers, foreman, and supporting mechanics
Performs Yard operations, loads and unloads equipment, performs check-in inspections and fuels equipment as needed
Assists with parts inventory and assists with creating warranty claims for the equipment serviced, as needed
Commissions new equipment to prepare it to be ready to rent
Adjusts various types of equipment to the correct settings as needed and performs basic equipment repair.
Assists with set up and delivery of equipment systems in the shop operations and to customers job-sites.
Assists more experienced Technicians with the delivery and installation of rented Power, HVAC/DH, Compressed Air, Pump Systems and other equipment types.
Documents projects to include daily notes, labor logs, progress reports, JSS, JSA, etc.
Disposes of hazardous materials in a responsible and safe fashion in accordance with company policy
Adheres to all safety standards as prescribed by Sunbelt management
Available for on call emergency service as scheduled
Other duties as assigned by the manager
Able to check all general operation parameters on equipment for example voltage on generators, PSI on Air Compressors and Vacuum on Pumps.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
1-3 years of experience and/or familiarity with repairing and maintaining Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment and accessories
Has an operational process/system aptitude
Possesses a basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater, HVAC, and Diesel driven Pumps; possesses a basic understanding of diesel equipment, electronics and hydraulics.
Excellent customer service skills
Experience with similar equipment preferred

SUMMARY OF THIS POSITION:
Under supervision, performs/assists with performing troubleshooting repair, preventive maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system and equipment. Additionally, performs emergency response work, repairs as assigned which may include work outside of primary trade.
Refrigeration:
Under direction, checks, maintains, repairs and installs all air conditioning-related equipment, evaporative cooling systems. Repairs or replaces evaporators, condensing units and compressors; trouble shoots equipment, makes repairs to equipment, recharges units with refrigerant, checks for leaks. Brazes, cuts, bends, solders, threads and assembles pipes and fittings.
HVAC Equipment:
Under direction, performs troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance for ventilation systems and heating systems - forced air, hydronic, steam systems, and related controls. Includes boilers/related equipment, rooftop equipment and water and steam service to fans for evaporative cooling or steam or hydronic heating.
Electrical Repair and Maintenance:
Under direction, performs electrical work as required related to servicing HVAC equipment; typical line voltage of 120V and 208V AC, low voltage controls. Follows proper lock out/tag out procedures.
