Your Role Day to Day: As an Industrial HVAC Technician you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and leading repairs on HVAC system breakdowns while supporting root‑cause analysis efforts. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC principles, including refrigerant handling, recovery, and charging, as well as the ability to interpret complex schematics and resolve technical issues on production and facility equipment. Duties include performing accurate and timely preventive maintenance, coordinating safety procedures such as lockout/tagout and safe lift operation, and supporting the installation of new manufacturing equipment. Position Summary The HVAC Duct Installer is responsible for installing all ductwork and other materials on the job site. This position is deemed 'safety sensitive' due to the fact that a person improperly performing the essential or marginal functions of the job would constitute a threat to the health or safety of the employee, the employee's co-workers, and/or the public at large. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Locates and installs ductwork and other types of materials in strict accordance with the mechanical plans and specifications. * Measures ductwork offsets, transitions, as required for a complete ductwork system. * Reads architectural and mechanical blueprints to determine exact location and elevation of duct-work or apparatus that is to be installed. * Assembles ductwork and fittings at the job site that is to be installed. * Assists the mechanical contractor in locating and physically installing mechanical equipment, exhaust fans and curbs, vents for boilers, hot water heaters and furnaces, and all sheet metal items that the sheet metal trade has jurisdiction. * Adhere to all company safety/OSHA rules and regulations. * The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years' experience in the sheet metal field. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have good oral communication skills. Physical Demands Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds frequently. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds. This position performs a variety of general maintenance and repair duties including carpentry, painting, plumbing, routine structure inspections. The technician also assists with pool chemistry monitoring and basic water quality adjustments under the guidance of management. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on park buildings, restrooms, shade structures, fencing, decks, and other facilities. Complete basic carpentry, painting, and finishing tasks to maintain safe and visually appealing structures. Assist with minor plumbing and electrical repairs as needed. Conduct basic pool chemistry tests and make adjustments as directed - training provided. Monitor water clarity and cleanliness, promptly reporting irregularities to management - training provided. Maintain cleanliness and order of maintenance shops, tools, and work areas. Conduct safety checks of facilities and promptly address hazards or repair needs. Support seasonal preparation and shutdown activities. Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely and responsibly. Collaborate with manager to perform other duties as assigned. Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies. Qualifications: 1-3 years of general maintenance, construction, or facilities repair experience preferred. Working knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and/or electrical systems. Ability to use and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during the park's operating season.
