WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Preferred:
· High school diploma or GED
· Previous experience as a HVACTechnician
· HVAC certification
· CFC certification
The following capabilities and distinctions are strongly preferred:
· Technical knowledge of geothermal systems for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of geothermal heat pumps and related equipment
· Soldering and braising skills
· Knowledge of local building codes
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics
· Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to lift heavy equipment
· On-site with frequent movement around the Club both indoors and outdoors
PAY RANGE
$26.00 - $28.00 hourly rate, commensurate with experience.

DAY-TO-DAY
This heating and air conditioning apprenticeship typically works Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
As an HVAC Apprentice - HVACTechnician, you provide key field support as you help complete our repair and maintenance services as well as installations. You work alongside our experienced techs, learning the ins and outs of the job and growing your skills. Every day is different as you clean, repair, and replace residential and commercial equipment for our clients. You assist our techs however possible, taking the time to familiarize yourself with equipment and proper procedures.
At the end of the day, you help clean up the work area and gather all the tools and materials. Whether you're speaking to a client or your coworkers, you always remain respectful and professional. You take pride in expanding your skills and helping us serve our community!
