Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, controls, motors, and plant equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation. Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in asphalt plant equipment, including conveyors, feeders, motors, pumps, and control systems. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Assist with plant start-up, shutdown, and operational support. Maintain tools, testing equipment, and electrical parts inventory in proper working condition.
