Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Two-year technical school, trade school, electrical apprenticeship program, contractor's license or other related industry certificates or licensure a plus
OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Training and Safety
Five or more years of experience in any of the following or equivalent experience:
Industrial electrical maintenance
Industrial electrical construction and/or service
OEM experience with major manufacturing companies
System Integration and/or Automation equipment installation
Experience working in an industrial environment
Experience in specialty terminations of industrial control panels and devices per electrical schematics (e.g., network cables, fiber-optics, various PLC and I/O components, etc.)
Possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record as well as reliable transportation
Must be able to commute to Smyrna, TN as the permanent job location as well as travel out of state for short term project assignments

The capability of achieving a Master Electrician or Electrical Contractor certification within 1 year of employment is a plus

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Electrician maintains, repairs, and installs production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, welding and brazing, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders and blue prints to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters/ control systems and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations and defective material, log and report unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of 3 phase electrical control circuits and variable speed drives
Must be certified as an electrician or have equivalent college/ trade school certification
Must have PLC experience
2-3 years industrial maintenance/electrician experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and industrial skills
Must be capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds constantly
Must be able to ascend ladders, stairways, platforms, and work within confined spaces.

What You'll Do
Build and wire electrical panels and field devices to spec
