**Qualifications:**

IT Security Analyst
As the IT Security Analyst you will play a key role in monitoring, assessing, and maintaining the integrity of infrastructure, systems, and data in collaboration with all Heritage IT departments. This role will assist the Company Security team and Managed Service Providers with technical and security-related daily activities and projects, while utilizing a wide range of security-related technologies designed to protect the Company's sensitive data, assets, and infrastructure.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
Continuously monitors configurations, systems and platform assessments and manages / responds to alerts and activity from endpoint EDR platforms, Syslog and SIEM collectors, vulnerability management platforms and network security / firewall platforms
Conducts system configuration audits to identify vulnerabilities and completes routine and targeted maintenance activities to ensure compliance
Assists in the development, implementation and management of the IT Security Awareness program
Responds to security incidents and conducts thorough investigations while documenting findings to prevent future breaches; assists the Company IT Service Desk with security-related tickets
Monitors, evaluates and responds to end-user risky behavior alerts and provides support to employees on security best practices and measures
Monitors multi-factor authentication requests and changes as needed
Conducts proactive threat-hunting using existing systems and performs risk assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses
Proactively informs other Company IT functions of any new or emerging security threats
Maintains an updated awareness of latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the organization's defenses are current
Completes regular and consistent reviews with MSPs to evaluate performance and procedures
Maintains priority of all tasks or projects established in the IT Security strategic plan
Travels up to 25% of the time, with overnight stays required
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education:
Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity (required)
CompTIA Sec+ certification (required)
CISSP certification (preferred)
CISA, CRISC and / or Cloud Security certification (preferred)
Experience:
