Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is: To verify property occupancy. To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant. We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors. Responsibilities Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes. Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned. Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards. Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments. Complete a short form in an app. Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory. As Chief Inspector, you'll have the authority and responsibility for managing, supervising, coordinating, training and scheduling all inspection functions for maintenance release. What you'll do: Ensure compliance with the Repair Station and Quality Manual (RSQM) in the performance of inspection duties. Ensure the standards and system for receiving, preliminary, hidden damage, in-process and final inspections of articles undergoing maintenance, preventive maintenance or alteration are performed in accordance with the applicable maintenance data and the RSQM. Maintain and Implement QSP 7.5.3 Identification and Traceability. Determine whether the requested maintenance, preventive maintenance or alteration on articles received for work can be accomplished within the applicable maintenance data, despite any other damage or discrepancies noted. Ensure that work performed on articles under the authority of the repair station is appropriately approved for return to service on the maintenance release document. Support the Quality Manager with Audits. Determine when Articles are beyond repair. Initiate the process that determines whether an article should be reported under the Suspected Unapproved Parts program and for filing reports under that program. Ensure Scrap parts are segregated in a manner that will prevent their use in maintenance, preventive maintenance or alteration pending final disposition from the customer. Review and approve operation routers, technical plans and special process parameters, etc. Communicates with vendors and customers as needed. Ensure personnel have appropriate knowledge or are properly trained prior to assigning inspection tasks. Ensure inspection personnel certifications and qualifications are maintained current. Assists with special projects as needed. Basic Qualifications Two or more years of experience working in an FAA 145 repair station or in a similar Quality Control position in an FAA regulated environment. Two or more years of experience with inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools used to determine the airworthiness of the article on which maintenance, preventive maintenance or alterations are being performed. High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Desired Skills A&P License preferred Aviation accessory and/or component experience. Experience with turbo-prop or turbo-fan and/or NDT. Perform in-process inspection on product being processed through the work cell, specifically at SMT, Wave and Selective Soldering operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling. * Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL). * Verify process compliance to document control process and procedures. * Examine product to verify conformance to workmanship standards. * Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials through the designated ERP system. * Inspect product being processed through work cell according to specific in-process inspector training and procedure, along with IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 workmanship standards. * Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs as applicable. * Resolve quality-related issues in a timely matter. * Approves finished material and/or product by confirming specifications, conducting visual measurement tests, returning products for re-work and confirming re-work. * Responsible for stopping processes, with communication to Production Supervisor, lead and/or engineering, to control manufacture of non-conforming assemblies. * Support and follow all ISO standards related to various Quality Management Systems. These systems may include, but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety and security. * Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations. * Perform all other duties, as assigned.

PCB Manufacturing | QC Inspector Scope: Inspect and evaluate final products to ensure compliance to customer requirements prior to delivery. Essential Job Function: Be able to complete AS 9102 Reports Perform Final Inspection on finished product to ensure compliance to customer requirements. Read customer drawings Perform measurements with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gages. Perform rework as appropriate, which may include mask touch-up, material removal with an x-acto knife, burnishing, soldering irons, final finish brush plating, sanding Verify acceptability of rework after completion Identify and mark non-conforming product to ensure it is not delivered Prepare standard and AS9102 First Article Reports as needed Verify certifications and reports are complete and accurate and can be used for final acceptance and certification of product Complete Deliverables for Customers and ensure they are complete and accurate Complete department logs and record yield data as required Perform preventative maintenance as defined by department maintenance schedule Support other work areas or departments as required by production or management. Ability to work overtime as requested Keep work area clean and organized Requirements Essential Qualifications, Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent One year of Quality Control experience Knowledge of AS 9100 Strong work ethic Ability to work effectively in a team environment Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting and performing visual and manual tasks.
