To do this they send a Property Inspector to the physical property to take specific photos and to reasonably determine if the property is occupied or vacant. The property inspector then reports the general condition of the property using a mobile app.
Mortgage Field Service Inspectors are Property Inspectors who:
*Determine if a property is occupied or vacant.
*Rate the property as Good, Fair, or Poor.
*Take photos of the property using your smart cell phone.
*Fill out a form on your cell phone using a downloadable app.
*Answer multiple choice questions about the property condition.
REQUIREMENTS:

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

A Quality Inspector is required to join an International Defence Systems company that designs, manufactures, and supports world leading Military Systems. The successful Quality Inspector will be part of a team and be carrying out Central & Goods Inwards Inspection activities.
This Quality Inspector opportunity is a full time permanent position with a good hourly rate and is a Day Shift Position.
This Quality Inspector role will include, but is not limited to, product and process audits, supporting ongoing continuous improvement activities throughout the business, development of a team culture within the quality inspection functions, and across the business.
The Quality Inspector position requires a working knowledge of best practice metrology processes and will report to the Manufacturing Engineer - Quality Inspection.
Quality Inspector will be responsible for the following:
Carry out inspection of First-off items and supplied goods.
Use a combination of manual gauging, CMM and surface testing equipment.
Carry out in-process inspection audits & provide feedback to machine shop & assembly staff.
Monitor the use and condition of in-process and central inspection gauging.
Ensure that gauging is returned for calibration in-line with the calibration schedule.
Liaise with the Manufacturing Engineering team during process development.
Ensure that inspection requirements/methods are captured at the earliest possible stage.
Utilise MSA and SPC as the basis for driving on-going process improvements.
Undertake training on inspection processes and equipment where necessary.
Support Engineering with new product and new process introductions.
Support the implementation and subsequently maintain systems and procedures.
Ensure continuing compliance with the AS:9100, ISO 9001 and Quality Management system.
Deliver annual objectives set by functional manager.
Undertake additional duties that may be required from time to time by the company.
Support the review of Final and stage drawings prior to release into production.
Review areas of concern for continuous improvement activities.
Ensure all documentation is accurately maintained and archived to aid product traceability.
The Quality Inspector should have the following Qualifications Skills or Experience:
Knowledge of ISO9001:2008 (AS9100:2009 experience preferred).
Knowledge and Experience of metrology processes.
Knowledge and Experience of CMM systems.
Knowledge and Experience and ability to read and understand Engineering drawings.
Some Knowledge and Experience of GD&T.
A team player with the ability to work on own initiative.

Computer literate with an understanding of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project.

Position/Project Overview:
Project Solutions Inc. is seeking multiple Trail Construction Management Inspectors to support a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service storm recovery project on the Virginia Creeper National Recreation Trail near Damascus, Virginia. The work involves on-site inspection of trail reconstruction activities across approximately 17 miles of damaged trail corridor, including grading, drainage, surfacing, and related improvements. The inspector will verify contractor compliance with contract requirements and support Government oversight efforts to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence during construction.
This role is contingent upon award of project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Inspect trail reconstruction activities to verify compliance with contract plans, specifications, schedules, safety standards, and FAR requirements.
Prepare and maintain daily Contract Diaries documenting construction progress, weather, workforce, equipment, and site conditions.
Identify and document nonconforming work or delays and immediately notify the CO and COR.
Verify earthwork, drainage features, trail surfacing, and appurtenances meet contract requirements.
Maintain organized on-site contract files, including submittals, testing reports, payrolls, and correspondence.
Track construction progress against approved schedules and report discrepancies or risks.
Monitor contractor compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
Notify the COR immediately of differing site conditions, unauthorized changes, or discovery of archaeological materials.
Support progress payment documentation and verification of completed work.
Maintain professional, neutral working relationships while routing all official actions through the COR/CO.
Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum four (4) year Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of experience inspecting trail, roadway, or linear infrastructure construction.
Experience with earthwork, grading, drainage, and surface course construction.
Experience working on federally funded construction projects preferred.
Strong reporting and documentation skills with attention to factual, verifiable observations.
Ability to interpret construction schedules and assess field progress accurately.
OSHA 30 construction safety training preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in remote and rugged terrain.
Maintain a valid driver's license.
