Responsibilities
Responsible for construction inspection of major infrastructure rehabilitation project
Monitor and track project schedule and budget
Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
Coordinate and track all project plans and drawings
Qualifications
NICET III/IV Certifications and experience in construction inspection required
NACE Certification and e xperience on projects for NJ Turnpike Authority a big plus
ACI, TCP (Rutgers) and OSHA certifications are preferred
Bridge experience required
Knowledge of construction materials, methods and procedures as well NJ Turnpike Authority CapEx manager system
Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Strong written and oral communication skills
Collaborate with multiple team members
Physical ability and coordination to safely maneuver around construction sites

General Job Description
Dogwood Industries LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to join our team in Everett, WA. A successful candidate will be experienced in inspection procedures in an industrial setting and will demonstrate an understanding of quality control procedures and key elements of the inspection process and documentation thereof.
Duties & Responsibilities
The core responsibility of the QCI is to inspect and report non-conformances in accordance with drawings, inspection checklists or other specifications identified in the quality assurance plan. Daily, the QCI may be engaged in these activities:
Identify defective or non-conforming work
Issue reports and document resolution of non-conforming conditions
Execute and document specific test plans
Maintain and distribute accurate drawings and red line corrections
Maintain quality control records, documents, and logs
Perform incoming material inspections and vendor inspections when required
Perform first article, visual and dimensional checks at all stages of production
Other duties as assigned

This position requires moderate physical activity in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time. * Required to attend Inspector training session at SFS to stay abreast of changing technology, installation and testing and reporting approaches. Classes are scheduled per region, per quarter for a two-year period.
* Required to begin NICET exam cycle application within the 3rd evolution of training, NICET exam preparation within the 4th evolution of training, and begin to test for NICET during session 5 or approximately within 1 year of hire date or enrollment into Inspector training classes.
* Trainees are required to pass NICET Level II certification in Inspection Testing & Maintenance of Water Based Fire Protection Systems prior to achieving "Inspector" status.
