**Pay Range** : Generally starting at $4,000-$5,500 per 3-credit hour course. Pay rate is dependent upon the type of courses taught (e.g. undergraduate, graduate, or cross-listed). This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

**Summary**
The College of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of ColoradoColorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of **Lecturers** in **Game Design and Development** from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.
This position will teach Game Design and Development classes for the department of Computer Science. Classes may be on-campus, online, or hybrid. Examples of courses/subject area include the following:
+ Introduction to Game Development (using GameMaker Studio 2)
+ Introductory Programming for Game Developers (using C# and Unity)
+ Object-Oriented Design, Analysis, and Implementation (using C# and Unity)
+ Game Design for Diverse Populations (using GameMaker Studio 2)
+ Special Topics in Game Design (various topics in game design and game art)
+ Special Topics in Game Programming (various topics in game programming)
**Essential Functions**
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
+ Provide instruction to undergraduate/graduate students based on course modality including class and/or lab preparation, administering exams, grading, and maintaining office hours.
+ Maintain, develop and schedule student learning experiences to achieve desired learning outcomes.
+ Plan, develop, and implement evaluation tools to assess student progress towards course learning objectives.
+ Be familiar with learning management systems, such as Canvas.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing high-impact learning programs focused on leadership development, professional growth, Credit Union culture, and organizational effectiveness. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Design, develop, and deliver strategic learning initiatives focused on leadership development, team effectiveness, change management, and professional skills.
Design, develop, and deliver Orientation for all new hires.
Leads the creation and facilitation of culture-enhancing programs and events that reinforce the credit union's core values and foster a positive, connected work environment.
Lead the creation of leadership development pathways for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders.
Facilitate leadership and professional development workshops, cohorts, and coaching sessions (both virtual and in-person).
Assess organizational and leadership training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data analysis.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to align development programs with business goals and talent strategies.
Develop and maintain content in the Learning Management System (LMS) related to leadership and enterprise-wide professional development.
Develop and maintain basic Core training for non-retail employees.
Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback, behavioral change metrics, and business impact analysis; continuously refine offerings based on data and feedback.
Manage external vendor relationships for leadership development tools, assessments (e.g., DiSC, StrengthsFinder), or program delivery.
Coach internal leaders or high-potential employees on career and leadership development.

Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Job Description:
Supports Human Factors Engineering/Usability Engineering, Labeling, and Device teams to create Instructions for Use (IFUs) used to instruct laypersons in the proper use of combination products/drug delivery devices. IFU creation includes copy, layout, and line-art illustrations.
