Position Summary
The Training/Senior Training Specialist for Warehouse Operations is responsible for
Developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of warehouse personnel.
Training/Senior Training Specialist is also the warehouse POC of system tool which is responsible for connecting with technical department.
Support leader to ensuring the accuracy and quality of inventory management within the warehouse. This role focuses on problem resolution, process optimization, and vendor compliance.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our team members are well-trained, efficient, and capable of meeting the demands of warehouse operations and ensuring a good inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and coordinate training modules for a variety of specialties, including quality assurance (QA), receive, put-away, pick, re-bin, pack and ship processes, people management, warehouse management systems (WMS), etc.
Identify skill gaps among existing warehouse personnel and develop training initiatives to enhance their skills in areas such as material handling, picking and packing, and quality control.
Conduct training sessions through various mediums, including classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and e-learning platforms.
Provide constructive feedback and additional coaching as needed to address performance improvement opportunities.
As the warehouse POC, coordinates relevant departments to learn the new system tool, conducts grayscale testing and employee training.
Lead the identification, analysis, and resolution of inventory control and warehouse management system issues. Ensure root causes are identified, documented, and addressed with effective improvement plans.
Oversee regular cycle counts, account reconciliations, and reporting. Manage the annual physical inventory, including slotting and profiling of SKUs to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
Conduct and oversee quality assurance audits, creating detailed reports on deficiencies, and load quality. Collaborate with Accounts Payable, vendors, and IPR to maintain inventory accuracy and vendor compliance within the warehouse.
Review and improve transportation carrier performance as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of related work experience.
Proven experience as a Training/Quality/system control role in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and WMS/TMS.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Certification in Training and Development is a plus.

About the Role
As a Designer for Trims & Branding, you'll support the development and execution of seasonal trim and branding strategies-spanning labels, hardware, packaging elements, and brand identity details. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to bring brand storytelling to life through high-quality, functional, and visually compelling trims that align with aesthetic, cost, and sustainability goals.

What You'll Do
Design Development & Execution
Assist in designing seasonal trim collections and branding details (e.g., heat transfers, buttons, zippers, labels, patches, etc.) across categories in alignment with brand direction.
Translate concept boards and seasonal direction into detailed trim design specifications and CADs.
Support creation and maintenance of BOM-ready artwork, design cards, and tech packs in collaboration with Product Development and Sourcing.
Participate in handoffs, approvals, and sample reviews to ensure on-brand execution.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner with Product Development, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Color teams to execute seasonal trims that meet aesthetic, timeline, and cost targets.
Collaborate with peers to ensure cohesion across all physical brand elements.
Support communication with vendors and mills, including development requests, comments, and sample tracking.
Process & Calendar Management
Assist in maintaining seasonal timelines for trims and branding deliverables, ensuring milestones are met and sample reviews are completed on time.
Help manage updates and organization of trim libraries and internal reference materials.
Support the team in prepping for milestone presentations and reviews with senior design and merchandising partners.

THE OPPORTUNITY (POSITION OVERVIEW)
Reporting to the School Director, the Instructional Specialist facilitates non-core subject classes such as Music, Theater, Art, Exploratorium, World Language P.E., and Athletics. The Instructional Specialist will guide and encourage learners to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Although teaching experience is not required, Instructional Specialists must demonstrate a passion and expertise in their field and have the ability to connect well with kids/children/learners/students. The Instructional Specialist will have the opportunity to create, tailor and modify their curriculum to the needs of the learners.
WHAT YOU WILL DO (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
Collaborate with Facilitator on developing lesson plan, instructional materials, and activities on non-core subject classes (e.g. music, Spanish, Theater, Art, PE).
Modify and tailor curriculum to the needs, interests and abilities of learners.
Effectively use a broad range of instructional strategies in teaching, including hands-on learning experiences.
Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
Tailor communication to grade level of learners.
Engage, motivate and inspire learners to reach their academic potential.
Establish and maintain excellent classroom management skills needed to achieve a functional and supportive learning atmosphere.
Evaluate learners' academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare reports of progress.

APPOINTMENT DATE AND ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The need for part-time faculty is greatest in Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall term begins in the late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term runs from the middle of January through the end of May. On rare occasions part-time faculty are needed during one of the Summer Session segments.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Regular performance evaluations of part-time lecturers are made by the department in accord with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. These performance evaluations determine which lecturers will be retained for future and continued teaching assignments. And in some instances, syllabi, assignments and reading material will be reviewed by the departmental personnel committee.
APPOINTMENT AND SALARY
All part-time faculty appointments are made as Lecturers, under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the California Faculty Association. Initial appointments are for one semester only.
Classification Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per month
Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month
The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester. For a three-unit assignment, typical starting compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester.

The need for part-time faculty is greatest in Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall term begins in the late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term runs from the middle of January through the end of May. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Regular performance evaluations of part-time lecturers are made by the department in accord with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. General Description:
This is a full-time, tenure track assignment under the general direction of the Area Dean. This position will be hired as a faculty member within a discipline and reassigned as an Instructional Designer. This reassignment will provide instructional design services for faculty to support the use of high-quality online instruction and Learning Management Systems. We are seeking a Contract Curriculum Designer to develop research-based Tier 2 and Tier 3 collections addressing critical behavioral and social-emotional challenges. This is a contract role with a defined project scope, and your work will directly impact how schools respond to and support students with intensive needs.
The Role
The Contract Curriculum Designer will be responsible for designing new collections of lessons and activities for grades PK-12, with a specific focus on:
Elopement - students leaving class or school without permission
Resistance / Defiance - oppositional or resistant behavior toward authority
Aggression - physical or verbal hostility, including fights
Conflict Repair / Peer Mediation - repairing harm and restoring relationships after disputes
The designer will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that equip educators with practical strategies to address these behaviors while also supporting student growth and well-being.
Responsibilities
Design and write Tier 2 and Tier 3 curriculum collections aligned to Wayfinder's instructional design principles and MTSS frameworks.
Develop lessons that are age-appropriate across PK-12 grade bands, with clear objectives, step-by-step facilitation guides, and accompanying student-facing resources including worksheets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure curriculum integrates seamlessly with Wayfinder's existing platform and pedagogy.
Conduct iterative revisions based on internal feedback and pilot testing with educators.
Deliver polished, implementation-ready curriculum materials by project deadlines.
Requirements
Qualifications
Background in education, curriculum design, counseling, psychology, or related field.
Demonstrated experience writing or designing curriculum, ideally for social-emotional learning, behavioral supports, or MTSS contexts.
Strong understanding of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions and strategies to support students with behavioral challenges.
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create engaging, clear, and teacher-friendly materials.
Comfort working independently as a contractor while collaborating with a cross-functional team.
