Overview:
UnityPoint Health - Finley is seeking a Urology physician to join an established practice in Dubuque, IA. As a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization, we offer comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care, and specialty care. Our clinical teams are dedicated to improving outcomes, lowering hospital readmissions, and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions.
Responsibilities:
* Average 30 patients/day
* Call rotation: 7 days per month to include a consecutive Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* 3 days of clinic and 1 1/2 days of surgery
* Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
* Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
* Patient-focused, friendly, and willing to collaborate in a team environment
* Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible
* Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in Iowa
* Eligible to work in the United States
* Ability to work as a team member
