What you will do Our continued growth has produced a need for a talented Life Safety Service Rep to join our team. In this challenging and rewarding role the responsibilities will include professionally representing the Company with respect to the promotion and sale of Fire/Life Safety service (Fire Alarm) offerings to various customers and end users within assigned territory and accounts.

This position requires high energy level with a focus toward customers and a strong desire to succeed. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communications skills and ability to persuade and close sales required. Must be able to handle a variety of situations encountered during sales process and work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Field sales position responsible for selling Electronic Services (Moves, Adds and changes) to assigned customer base (geography or account).
• Manage the entire sales process, from uncovering opportunity, developing solution/value proposition, preparing design, creating contract, negotiating terms, closing opportunities, and providing on-going customer service through service delivery.
• Work with other sales, technical, design engineering, service, support, and management to meet customer needs.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company product offerings.
• Close sales to meet or exceed sales plan objectives.
• Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designated sales plan.
• Assume account management responsibility including the provision and/or coordination of services (installation, customer training, etc.) to assure complete customer satisfaction.
• Develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and perform necessary follow-up for successful closing of the sales.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems in regard to delivery dates, billings, financing and other related matters.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact in pursuit of additional sales.
• Perform periodic market investigations within as assigned territory to develop new applications; provide sales forecasting for assigned territory.
• Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates.
• Maintain correct and complete records of all sales related activities.
What we look for
Education
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred.
Experience
• Three or more years, successful sales experience with fire alarms, security control, and monitoring or similar industry. Experience working with electrical contractors and blueprints is desirable.
• Excellent sales, presentation, and closing techniques.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self- motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
• PC Proficiency including familiarity with Word, Excel, and job costing system
• Highly motivated and success driven.
• Ability to quickly identify and qualify opportunities.

• Experience working with electrical contractors, ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams desirable.
• Computer experience (Microsoft and Oracle programs preferred.)

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain appropriate licenses required by national, state and local codes.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $55K-$70K annual base salary + target incentive earnings (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do
Under direct supervision, tracks and provides direct support for the installation contract business. Actively participates in accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial activities, such as contract scheduling, revenue goals, billings, collections, and subcontract processing. Provides back up customer call handling, as needed. Provides administrative, day to day support in the operational areas.
How you will do it
Answers any customer/subcontractors' inquiries and resolves or escalates customer issues, as appropriate.
Update's project/labor schedules as required by project owner.
Runs query reports, researches, and reconciles unaligned costs, such as labor hours, material purchases, expenses, and other operations related transactions.
Performs necessary cost transfers.
Prepare and submit billings.
Completes any additional documentation required for billing, i.e., certified payroll.
Reconciliation of accounts payable exceptions, as necessary.
Assist installation teams as needed to reach revenue goals, which may include contacting vendors.
Research, resolves, or escalates accounts receivable disputes as outlined in the escalation process.
Works with Accounts Receivables contact to assist with resolution of A/R issues. Determines appropriate actions for timely resolution.
If needed, will interact with Customer to resolve receivable issues.
Processes invoice credits and rebills, as necessary.
Proactively contacts customers ensure customer satisfaction and a commitment to pay.
Maintains notes within appropriate systems.
Updates and retains customer account information related to special billing conditions, tax status, invoice approval contacts, billing addresses and special billing rates up to date.
Support subcontract process including ensuring all documentation has been provided to meet safety requirements and any bonds are received and lien wavers are provided per contract requirements.
Assist COAs in resolution of issues.
Provide additional operations administration support, as required.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Customer Center plant air centrifugal (PAC) equipment sales and service activity for a specific territory in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska & Iowa. * Generate Revenue - Responsible for generating sales of equipment, service contracts, and service offerings with our direct end users and partners selling to a defined customer base within a geographic area. Develop existing customer base and secure new, competitive accounts to expand IR presence in the market. Provide and design compressed air solutions to fulfill industrial customer needs. Products include compressed air equipment, accessories, turnkey installations, service contracts, parts, service, rental equipment and energy audits. Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will:

The Inside Sales & Service Team Leader is responsible for coaching the Inside Sales team to achieve the Area's key performance indicators while providing an exceptional customer experience. What you will do
Our Early Career Technical Sales (BEST) Program is a 6-month technical sales development program for Recent College Graduates that focuses on creating market share by strategically selling Johnson Controls' Fire products and services to commercial customers. What you will do
Our Customer Service Agents will serve as Emergency Dispatch Operators, monitoring systems for alarm signals and responding to alarms using the information provided in instruction screens.
You will learn about the dispatch operator role and standard operating procedures through our paid training course.
Once on the job, you will place the necessary outgoing calls to verify an alarm, dispatches the proper authorities, and notifies responsible parties.
Part of your job will be to properly document what happened and how you handled this situation within the system and make sure you followed all of the appropriate steps.
How you will do it As an Emergency Dispatch Operator, you will participate in a five-week training program. We provide a fun and interactive learning environment. You will learn about the role and the great opportunities within our company, what is expected of you, how we monitor your performance and work together through the training classes so that you can be a successful Emergency Dispatch Operator. You will also be automatically enrolled in our Completion Bonus Program, where they will be able to earn 3 bonuses in your first year!What we look for

* Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems. Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs.
* Manages assigned work to meet a professional level of execution, on-time and to the customer satisfaction.
* Provides consultant level services for customers related to building system repairs and enhancements.
* Ensures ultimate customer satisfaction levels with assigned customers.
* Conducts self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency.
* Completes all training and certifications as required by the company.
