What you will do:
The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver technical certification training programs for fire detection products in classroom, virtual or mobile settings to various student populations. This role will be based primarily at our JCI Training Institute Learning Center in Westford, Massachusetts.
How you will do it:
Deliver certification-level instructor-led classes on the installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of Johnson Controls fire detection systems using various modalities, including virtual, in-person, and webinars.
Design, develop, and facilitate webinars that complement instructor-led training topics.
Qualify to deliver multiple product training curricula simultaneously.
Document course enhancements based on feedback from customers and subject matter experts.
Receive mentorship from experienced instructors in subject matter expertise, content creation, and course delivery techniques.
Collaborate closely with the Fire Detection team and Lead Trainer to ensure quality and consistency throughout the course lifecycle.
Be prepared for potential travel to other North American Learning Centers, which may be required for up to 20% of the time.

What you will do

What you will do
Under specific direction is responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls service offerings to owners, primarily at the Director level. Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise. With assigned contractors, makes take-offs and bids the full spectrum of projects with the full spectrum of JCI offerings. With assigned consulting engineers, drives specifications of the full spectrum of projects towards the JCI offering. With assigned owner accounts, drives favorable specification.
Keeps management informed of progress and account status. Calls for assistance from manager to keep the sales process moving.
Demonstrates technical knowledge by writing the specification or matching the proposal to the building specifications to provide value to the customer and favorably position Johnson Controls.
Under direction, qualifies and assesses potential customers. Teams with colleagues on individual projects based on account assignments. Honors the credit split guidelines and refers leads to other business segments.
Develops relationships with internal operations and administrative staff to ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively and efficiently address issues.
Required
Degree or equivalent experience of more than eight years.
A minimum of two (2) plus years of consultative progressive field sales experience in a highly complex sales process preferably in the Fire/Security/IT industry.
Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels. Technically savvy

What you will do:
Under direct supervision and using established standards, responsible for hardware designs and software programming for HVAC control systems to meet the intent of the project requirements. Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls field installation team and subcontractors. What you will do:
The Equipment Commissioning Manager (EqCM), supports the Equipment North America (EqNA) organization on startup, warranty, coordination with all other service needs. The EqCM will report to the Regional Service Manager for the first 6 months and then move to the Branch Service Manager and a have accountability to the HVAC Equipment Operations Manager (HEOM) and their organization.
They will also coordinate with the Customer Resource Coordinator (CRC) for all equipment field service labor requirements per the customer expectations and contract requirements. They will provide single point of contact for coordination all service scope related within equipment contract and be the direct interface with the EqNA customer.
How you will do it:
* Supports EqNA sales during project estimate by specifying, if given, service can be performed as an S/R or if a Service Mechanical project will need to be secured (determine based on the duration, size and complexity of the project, as well as the need for project management).
* Provides custom quote for service items outside of Program, Commission, Adjust, and Train (PCAT) policy.
* When the EqNA contract is secured and warranty expectations are confirmed by the Systems Application Engineer (SAE) verify that the branch has the necessary service technicians trained to work on the identified equipment and coordinate with Truck Based Service Manager (TBSM) to send technicians to be training as appropriate and/or necessary with the guidance and support of the BSM.
* Will attend RTO meetings when requested on complex projects or projects sold with Planned Service Agreement (PSA) and identify any service/warranty scope concerns.
* If the PSA is part of the contract, validate the details of the PSA to the SAE/Agent Project Owner to include project submittals. Provide documentation as needed.
* Conducts weekly service turnover meetings with SAEs and Branch Operations Manager (BOM) to coordinate and monitor all current and future service scopes for EqNA business and provide feedback and status to EqNA Operations Team. • Will work with customer to introduce Connected Service capabilities
* Coordinate with the EqNA Customer, directly, for all scheduled work and schedule changes
* Works with CRC and SAE to verify asset record created in NxGen and are assigned to the correct site for future SRs/quotes
* Works with CRC and technicians for delivery related to FOB Destination and provide communication back to the SAE and Customer as required
* Verifies that indicated warranty shows correctly in warranty navigator, if there are any discrepancies work with SAE and Warranty Admin team to address.
* Monitors any Long-Term Storage (LTS) requirements and coordinate with SAE and customer.
* Promotes Pronto Forms utilization by customers for prestart up checklist and by technicians for startup, unit inspections, and warranty work.
* Ensures startup is completed or resolve any issues to complete startup work and provide customer with startup documentation.
* Ensures startup dates are entered for the assets in NxGen and all equipment started by service is properly registered in Warranty Navigator. EqCM is required to provide warranty certification to the EqNA customer.
* Works with CRCs to ensure all SRs are invoiced promptly upon scope completion.
* Acts as a first point of contact for warranty requests for EqNA customers, working with CRC and Warranty Service Coordinator (WSC) to ensure technicians are dispatched promptly and claims are filed
* Works to escalate and resolve issues preventing service warranty work being completed (includes parts and resources availability) and works with product technical support as necessary to accelerate cash collections
* Facilitates technical support for EqNA customers as appreciate and necessary.

Job Overview:
The Field Service Technician for Ingersoll Rand & Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment. In addition, you need to have knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
Responsibilities:
In addition to performing preventative maintenance on Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment, our service techs will interact with customers to address existing and unanticipated equipment concerns. Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs. All service technicians will assist and train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
* Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
* Provides technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems. Including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirement with limited guidance from the Master Technician.

Requirements:
* 2 years+ experience of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
* Must possess a valid driver&aposs license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
* Every service technician is required to be on-call, but you will not be on-call for the first 90 days to get used to the schedule. This is shared with every service tech, and it requires being available 24/7 for the 1-week duration where you will go to customer sites. On-call weeks can be as often as every 4 weeks or greater than 4 weeks, but that will be determined by the hiring manager.
* This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move weight limits in line with the safety policy.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

What will you do
Under general direction, acts as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers. Performs or delegates tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout. Responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects including costs, project billings, and collections. How will you do it
Completes typical installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as required. Provides detailed information to communicate design and operation to customers, Johnson Controls staff and subcontractors.
Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes. Communicates both technical and business-related issues with the clients.
Manages the selection, ordering, budget and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned.
Secures pricing and availability from outside vendors and suppliers, mechanical and electrical subcontractors including scope, terms and conditions. May request several bids in pricing process. Oversees subcontractor payment and billing processes.
Provides jobsite coordination for panel and field device physical locations. Ensures installation is in accordance with Johnson Controls literature and project requirements.
Manages and completes the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required. Validates complete system functionality and resolves issues with subcontractors and others to ensure proper operation. Provides accurate project as built and commissioning documentation.
Manages costs, billings and collections. Completes project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client. Maintains profitability goals and positive cash flow. Schedules monthly project cost in cost accounting system. Responsible for project cost hitting projects as scheduled.
Provides coaching, mentoring and technical assistance to System Technicians, Electrical Installers and System Designers. Provides technical assistance to subcontractors. Ensures that delegated tasks are done accurately, on time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract.
Effectively communicates the status of projects to management as required and provides monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin.
Sends warranty letter to JCI customer upon substantial completion of project and ensures proper execution of warranty.
Develops project plans and coordinates the required resources to ensure timely and cost-effective installation and completion of assigned projects.
Performs site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system in full or with assistance. Ensures owner/operator has been trained. Provides proper documentation and manuals for system operation.
Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and subcontractors. Attends job progress meetings as required.
Adheres to safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.

HOURS/SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am

POSITION OVERIVEW:
The primary role of Production Support is to assist in all areas of the Manufacturing facility as production needs demand. This role could be working day-to-day in Assembly on power frames and sure-step assembly tasks, on the Wet Coat and Powder Coat lines hanging and remove parts, in the Welding area performing spot welding tasks or assisting the Shipping team with staging for shipments.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in various production roles as needed to ensure continuous workflow
Operate overhead hoist
Load and unload parts on the Wet Coat line
Assemble painted parts, including packing and palletizing the finished product
Operate drill press, punch press or riveting machine to assist in Assembly operation
Utilize basic hand tools
Set up and maintain a clean and well-organized and safe work environment in accordance with 6S.
Maintain accurate counts and inventory of product at workstation
Understand and adhere to product acceptability and quality requirements
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards and identify product defects
Rework and/or repairs of assembled parts according to engineering specification changes
Stage materials and pallets for shipments
Perform additional tasks and miscellaneous duties as assigned to support production flow and maintain efficiency during non-peak periods

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift, carry, push and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

What you will do
Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface. With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors control technicians, service technicians and mechanical technicians on building automation activities. Properly completes required project and service documentation. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service
How you will do it
Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.
Consults with the customer through data gathered and site assessments. Provides field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing equipment. Assists sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.
Manages assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction. Reports problems or changes to management immediately. Interfaces with branch manager, service manager, service project manager or subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities as required ethically and professionally.
Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings. May assist with job layouts and bid proposals.
Install and modify software and graphics.
Communicates with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Meets regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems. Keeps customer informed on the service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and replacement. Promotes the sale of add-on work.
Adheres to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards. Provides safety leadership and instruction to all control's technicians in the branch. Provides safety awareness while working onsite with Johnson Controls subcontractors.
Trains the customer in control systems operations. Delivers manuals and documentation to the customer for training needs as required.
Provides mentorship for certification of Controls Technicians and Service Technicians on complex building automation systems. Coaches, supports and trains the technical workforce on non-complex, non-critical equipment.
Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training form, training certificates and punch lists.
Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.
Other duties related to the installing, commissioning and servicing of building controls and facilities management systems and energy management systems, as assigned.
Assists in the design and configuration of building control systems as defined by the contract documents. Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, and bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.
Assists in developing and testing software programs necessary to operate the system per the project requirements' intent.
Compiles and/or completes project as built and close-out documentation.
Assists in the coordination and creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
Selects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned.
Assists in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required. Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
May provide field change information to the project team for the creation of as-built drawings and software.
Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
Assists in performing site-specific training for owner / operator on the total building control system.
Participates in release meeting with project field team.
Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for system trouble shooting, repair and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.
Minimum of Six (6) years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry. This includes buildings, chiller plants and systems.
Vocational School program graduate or associate's degree in a technical field, or two years' experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems.
Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications.
Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
