About the role:
Cooling Tower Laborers will assist in performing basic construction support tasks as instructed.
Maintain a clean worksite by making sure the worksite is free of debris and trash throughout the day.
Provide crew with needed materials to perform the tasks.
Roll-out tools at the beginning of the workday and put away tools at the end of the workday.
Work at heights as needed while observing 100% tie-off.
Assist Cooling Tower Technicians to assemble structure as directed.
Signal operators of construction equipment (excluding cranes) to assist with alignment, movement, and placement of machinery and materials.
Additional tasks as assigned by Foreman and/or Superintendent.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License or ID Card (also, must have reliable transportation).
Experience working in an industrial workplace.
Physical Demands:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing (stairs and structures) and stooping
Keyboarding/typing
Ability to read effectively from a computer screen and/or paper copy
Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Outside or in a plant environment; may be exposed to bad weather and/or excessive heat and noise.
Hazardous chemicals are typically produced or stored in a location close to the Work area.

Summary of Position Functions
The Electrical Journeyman installs basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

What the Role Involves:
As a JourneymanElectrician, you'll be responsible for installing and servicing high-voltage electrical power and circuits in supermarkets, convenience stores, and food service establishments.
Perform duties as a team technician for the installation and service of commercial electrical systems.
Document and install conduits that are necessary to facilitate refrigeration and building energy management conversions and upgrades, along with refrigeration high voltage electrical systems.
Work with systems involving control voltage signals and power devices ranging from 2-480 VAC.
Read, understand, and interpret electrical blueprints and ladder logic type diagrams.
Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems.
Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
Install safety and distribution components related to electrical circuits.
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components.
Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged electrical circuits.
Oversee all electrical installations and lead a small crew.

Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED (preferred)
Valid State Driver's License
5+ years electrical experience in commercial installation/supermarket refrigeration products and whole store remodels
The Ideal Candidate:
Willingness and ability to travel 55% to 95% of the time.
Ability to use all electrical hand and power tools. Uses standard hand tools, power tools, as well as specific instruments and specialty tools
Basic computer skills; ability to use laptop and smart phone

Understands Refrigeration/ HVAC control wiring and electrical
