This position will require travel to various locations around the state of WA to complete projects, with Perdiem provided. We provide quality Health Coverage with 50% premium covered by our company. We offer 401k plan. We are competitive in our wages, and are looking for a competent team leader to ensure all projects are turned in with minimal to none in change orders. Hours of work are nights, normally 9pm - 530am.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Position Summary:

Scheduling Ownership:
Manage a dedicated route of commercial clients.

Respond quickly and professionally to client complaints and service requests.

Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years in route sales, facilities management, janitorial service, landscaping, or environmental services

Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, able to communicate complex concepts and risk factors to stakeholders and influence decision making
Ability and aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite and other technology necessary for successful day-to-day functioning in a business environment.
Ability to pass background screening requirements, including identity, criminal history and motor vehicle records checks

We have a long tradition of service, and an exciting and innovative future ahead! We are looking for a Wireman/Substation Electrician to join our team! The Wireman/Substation Electrician has a working knowledge of substation construction, operation, maintenance and repair practices and procedures. They also have a working knowledge of equipment, apparatus, and wiring. They install, maintain, test, adjust, troubleshoot and repair substation equipment which includes, but is not limited to transformers, regulators, load tap changers, circuit breakers, circuit switchers, motor-operated and manual switches, bus work, wiring, battery banks and chargers, metal clad switchgear, GIS substations and substation structures. They operate substation equipment, perform switching, take clearances and install personal protective grounds. They perform testing on substation apparatus such as power factor, transformer turns ratio, megger, ductor, battery load testing, oil sampling, dielectric testing, SF6 gas sampling and processing and other analytical tests as assigned.
Journeymen are expected to follow safety rules and company standards. They may work in confined spaces and in elevated work areas, may work with bucket and boom trucks. They may work independently or with others, occasionally work long hours during emergency conditions, be responsible for tools, test equipment, and vehicles and perform similar and incidental duties as required.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Completion of a Wireman apprenticeship or its equivalent and be proficient in using tools and equipment of the trade on energized and de-energized systems.
• Working knowledge of fundamentals of electricity as pertains to utility systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and must possess or obtain within thirty (30) working days after selection, a First Aid Certificate.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with the necessary endorsements.
• Must have the ability to maintain a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) including the necessary endorsements and removal of the air brake restriction.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• This is an IBEW represented position and successful candidates will become a member of the IBEW Local 77.
• These are safety sensitive positions and will be subject to random DOT drug and/or alcohol testing.

ABOUT THE ROLE The Maintenance Electrician is a union position. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. The prime objective of this position is to ensure the integrity and reliability of all plant equipment via timely, planned, thorough and consistent maintenance activities and inspections. The electrician is responsible for carrying out electrical/maintenance processes and PM program inspections throughout the Seattle Grinding Plant.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
* Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to assure that environment, health and safety are the first priority of the business.
* Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptales, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, coaxial cables assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical component.
* Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
* Coordinates with assigned Foreman and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
* Maintains assigned equipment, and tools for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition.
* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Technical diploma / Electrical apprenticeship
Additional Education Preferred: Certified Journeyperson Electrician
Required Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of industrial experience
Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
