Job Description
This position is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground and/or overhead electrical power lines of our customers. In addition, this position may participate in the rejuvenation of medium to high voltage unground power cables using Southwire's patented technologies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely switch, test and ground medium/high voltage electrical circuits using 3-way communication
• Read maps and maintain customer as-builts.
• Write and implement switching orders, communicate switching instructions with customer dispatch.
• Inspect, use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), tools and equipment.
• Assist Team Leader with job planning, hazard avoidance and documenting daily work records.
• Assist in mentoring and training of other Lineworkers.
• Safely perform work in various field situations and safely operate company or rental assets including vehicles, aerial devices and various other equipment
• Enhance and advance a culture of zero incident safety culture and behavior.
• Understand and follow OSHA Regulations in addition to company and local safety rules and procedures.

JOB OVERVIEW
The Quality Apprentice will work closely with experienced technicians, inspectors, and engineers to learn and develop skills related to the repair of aircraft engines. Responsibilities:
* Perform general inspection, under the guidance of experience Inspectors, of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.

* Perform scripted repair procedure to repair and functionally test parts or tools.
* Assist Repair technicians/Engineers/Technical Services/Inspectors as required.
