Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder is looking for a dynamic Pipeline Infrastructure Engineering Program Manager to join our Operations Team. As a key leader, you will oversee a portfolio of pipeline infrastructure projects while also serving as a trusted advisor to our clients. You'll lead cross-functional teams, drive business development and ensure excellence in project delivery and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate would have significant experience working within an engineering consultancy, providing consulting engineering services to projects ranging in size and complexity from small to large pipeline Infrastructure projects. You will identify, lead and coordinate complex infrastructure projects focused on pipeline systems. This role combines program execution with strategic client engagement. From identifying opportunities to developing winning strategies, we build and leverage relationships across service lines and markets. This role is critical to ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of engineering programs that support our growing infrastructure needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic growth plans for key utility and energy clients. Foster long-term relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities across service lines. Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and client presentations. Mentor staff and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation and safety. Lead and/or support a cross-functional team to execute pipeline and facility projects. Ensure schedule, budget, and quality adherence across all phases of project execution. Manage projects for schedule adherence identifying risks and requirements to successfully achieve a project's in-service date. Navigate projects through client gate approval processes including presentations to senior and executive management as required by each client. Manage projects for financial adherence, maintaining an accurate cost forecast reflecting committed and uncommitted costs for an estimate-at-completion. Provide regular status updates on projects by maintaining project data and routine reporting as well as meeting updates for clients. Lead project meetings with cost, schedule, environmental, engineering and construction resources to facilitate project execution. Ensure synergies across projects are incorporated into the portfolio of work to prevent scope from being duplicated or performed inefficiently. Review project change requests (scope, In-service date, etc.) and reconcile with the existing and long-range portfolio of work. Create analyses & reports to assist the client in tracking, coordination, and execution of projects. Solicit client feedback and prepare action plans to enhance execution by teams participating in work on program. Facilitate internal and external communication on sales, revenue, and growth targets on program using oral and written platforms. Develop engagement plans for visitations and with external organizations representing technical staff and Client organization. Monitor operational needs including contracts, professional licensure, and skill gaps and develop executable plans for remedying needs Author and deliver training sessions and build library of tools on key topics related to the Client and solicit colleagues to participate in this effort within the Program Team. Steward a Health and Safety culture through leadership and modeled behavior. Serves as a Project Manager and/or Engineer of Record on key projects and pursuits. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program 10+ years of direct pipeline design experience 7+ years of experience in project management for an engineering consulting firm Excellent facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage Strong planning and analytical skills Must demonstrate superb oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients Demonstrated success in project management which includes proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, team leadership, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination.
