A Day in the Life of a Laboratory Associate at Discovery Life Sciences: Stain tissue samples. Document lab work. Assist with multiple projects at once. Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience): Associate degree or higher in Life Sciences or related field. Familiarity with general laboratory equipment. Experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC) is preferred but not required. Background or coursework in Pathology/Histology is a plus. Strong multitasking skills and the ability to maintain organized records. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform immunohistochemical staining of tissue samples. Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure project objectives are met efficiently. Utilize and maintain general laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, pipettes, and more. Exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $22.50-$24 per hour. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
