Job Summary: The responsibility of the crater is to ensure that product is packaged/crated in accordance with Allen Industries Inc, best practices and procedures. Responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing of concrete. Tasks include assisting carpenters and finishers in daily tasks which include, but are not limited to the following: erecting and setting forms and scaffolding; loading and unloading equipment; placing and finishing of concrete; transporting equipment, materials, and supplies; and ensuring a safe and clean job-site.

Tend machines that pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, plaster or stucco through spray-guns for application to ceilings and walls. Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools. Apply caulking compounds by hand or using caulking guns. Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces. Learn and follow safety regulations. Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters, plasterers, and masons. Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customers including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year.
